    a friend of mine is one of the owners and invited me to go but i declined since sigurado dami SC ngayon jan.

    Bakit hiwalay ung Solaire and Belle Grande? How about the other 2? saan ung location? Sana they put it adjacent with each other.

    Solaire is kastilaloy (see the obvious guests), while Belle is chinoy. Not exactly the best of neighbors in some cases ... Thats the reason.

    Going there (Saturday opening) isn't exactly SC. Every Tom, Dick, and Harry (or Aida, Lorna and Fe) with a flashy car and serious cash to burn was present during opening night.

    Ethnicity or race is not the reason. the four clusters of land are besides each other.

    Alpha Land (Ongpin, Chinoy) is located North of Solaire, Belle Grand (Sy, Chinoy) is located on the East and Resorts World Bayshore (Tan, Chinoy) on the South of Solaire.

    Wasn't during the time of Erap that Stanley Ho was supposed to set up the same concept gambling joint...looks like someone stole the idea.

    i remember there was a huge uproar then because ho's critics (mostly from the religious sector) claimed that his investments would destroy the moral fabric of the society. now that there is a renewed influx of gambling joints, i wonder where those critics are now?

    but ho is making a comeback via the melco-belle joint venture which is scheduled to operate in the next year or so

    btw, di ba dala ni stanley ho iyong floating casino na naging floating resto sa manila bay? buhay pa ba iyon?

    A friend of mine invested 1M on stocks bloomberry still down almost 200k.. Lalakas kaya ang gambling sectors dito sa pinas? Considering that our country is a religious & conservative nation tayo?
