I always bring our expat visitors to Tesoro's along Arnaiz Ave. Then pay for whatever gets their fancy (at company expense of course).

It has to be something not so large so it would fit in his bag. Are food items recommended?(at least something na hindi harangin sa airport)

My wife got me these a long time ago. I think they're awesome for souvenirs.

Freshwater pearls necklace and earring set costs me 1k pesos in greenhills, just make sure to personally choose the well rounded ones. Gave it as pasalubong to a South African friend.

handmade items are always welcome, especially if the recipient is from the urban jungle... wooden ballpens.. small carvings... jeepney... my young nieces who grew up outside the country fought over the bakyas...
our dried mangoes are the best in the world, bar none.... pinag-aagawan 'yan! you can never bring too much..
and as compact said, pearls kung babae..

Meron bang nakakaalam dito kung saan pwede bumili ng filipino themed ginantsilyo products? Mahilig mag-gantsilyo yung pagreregaluhan.

Hello, if you want to make a gift for a person who travels a lot and at the same time loves coffee, a travel mug will be an excellent gift (see here: inspiredby.ph (no url because its not spam, it's a real recpmendation)). And colorful pictures with the Philippines on it will delight the eyes.
