i was there din nung weekend, pangit yung accomodation na nakuha kasi friday early am na kami dumating doon.. fan room lang 1200 na, swerte na rin kasi 2K na nga ang aircon kaya we settled for the fan room.. buti nalang presco naman yung place although d kagandahan... mahal kasi dami sobrang tao eh.

anyway sabi nung isang koreana maganda daw talaga ang boracay compared to puerto.. although mahal daw talaga..

another koreana said maganda daw ang cocobeach pero mahal din, around 4K each for 2 nights stay

Try mo sa Oceana Beach Resort. Little bit pricey but the amenities are first class. Sa white beach na lang mag lunch and dinner para maka save.

looks safe enough, having your whole family together! pwede po bang makahingi ng travel tips? Pinaplano ko po kasi ang ganyan by June e. I wanna do the exact same thing...dalhin ang ride ko, and the whole family!

BTW, di pa ako nakarating dyan sa bandang Batangas....it will be a 1st time, and any inputs from you folks will be appreciated...(iipunin ko nga ang thread na ito and then print ko pag pupunta na ako...)

-how to get to the Batangas port, which ferry is advisable, magkano ang mga rates, ah well......kahit na anong mai-share nyo...

ginawa namin to get to batangas port, we took JAM liner bus near sa Timog yata yun. PHP120 more or less. Kung may dala kang car, take star tollway. From SLEX, exit ka going Legaspi, if i'm not mistaken, then look for star tollway. Pwede mo i-park dun sa terminal yung car mo. I'm not sure how much, and kung safe. Di ko din alam kung RORO

You can't compare Boracay with Puerto Galera. If you are into diving and snorkeling, I'd much prefer Puerto Galera over Boracay. Cost wise, Galera tops them all too but the scenic views and fine sand of Boracay will outshine Galera. There are other intangible things like proximity to Manila, breath taking views, security etc.
