just got back from PG last mon, stayed at biglalaguna. glad to know that the coral bed is still teeming with fishes, i was literally swimming with at least 30 to 50 different kinds of fishes. fishes there are accustomed to being fed kaya they're not afraid of swimmers, i was able to touch a few and some were stealing quick bites at my anklet
food is quite expensive at biglalaguna, our meals average 300 for both me and hana,
mostly staying are foreigners. we passed by white beach enroute to biglalaguna and wow daming tao, everybody was going there talaga
gusto ko den ksing pumunta ng puerto galera with frends..ngsearch ako sa internet and i saw this forum..gs2 ko lng mgtnong if we can use tents sa white beach..or may mga areas dun na hnd magaallow..thnks.=)

yup you can pitch a tent almost anywhere on the white beach but some resorts will charge youOriginally Posted by storm
if you're into snorkeling, seeing fishes, cataquis lodge at biglalaguna is a good place, 800 a night per room fan only with own cr
beware of food prices since mostly foreigners ang nagstastay dito, what we do is walk to sabang masmura food dun![]()
tanong ko lang kung talagang mabato/full of corals (bits & pieces) ba talaga yung shore sa lalaguna. sa mga pictures kasi parang hindi naman, parang fine sand lang. d tuloy namin alam kung dahil lang ba sa pagdaan ni bagyong caloy kaya ganoon. when we went to white beach talagang fine sand lang yung sa beach kaya naisip namin sana dun na lang kami nagstay, sugat2x kasi kami since mabato nga & when we went there kakatapos lang dumaan ni caloy pero antataas pa din ng alon, nakikipagpatintero kami sa salpok ng alon against the stone walls just to get to small lalaguna from big lalaguna, dami pa malalaking bato & corals na nadadala ng mga waves kaya sakit lang talaga ng katawan napala namin don.
lesson learned: magpalipas muna ng matagal2x bago pumunta sa galera (or any other beach for that matter) after daanan ito ng bagyo. andumi ng shore e. our boat almost capsized dahil sa laki ng mga alon, we almost got our heads and bodies bashed against the stone walls sa lakas ng hampas ng alon, stranded ka talaga in one place coz you couldn't get pass the waves, & for 2500/night at club mabuhay, we have to settle with having no television (wala talagang reception, cable wala), no hot water & a dirty swimming pool. d talaga namin na-enjoy, sayang lang![]()
yun sa sabang area pangit talaga dun. na goyo din kami ng agent. as soon as we landed there, nagpasya kagad grupo na magpunta ng white beach.

there's a sandbar part sa shore ng biglalaguna, its around 100 meters long, yung sand may bits and pieces nga ng corals, not as fine as those in white beach, i should've warned you that the way going to and fro biglalaguna and sabang is easily reached by high water.Originally Posted by wildcatz
im more into snorkeling kasi kaya masgusto ku sa biglalaguna kaysa sa white beach but kung socials hanap mu then white beach is the place to be, i tried doing laps sa white beach din muntik lang aku masagasaan ng bangka, but white beach can be a very nice place paglean season... wala masyadong tao therefore less boats, cheap food and stay and the beach is clean
we also got stuck at PG around 2003 what we did was took a jeep to calapan then fastcraft to bat pier
sa sabang naman pangit talaga dun, jumpoff point lang yun ng divers and madaming prostis but if you're staying in those areas (big, small lalaguna, sabang) dun cheapest ang food and stay, water at sabang is kinda dirty since may outlet to sea yung ibang establishments dun
tsikoteers,
sino gusto mag-Galera this June or July?? set tayo!!! hehehehe![]()
isa pa yan small lalaguna saka big lalaguna na yan. ang ganda ganda sa pics.
the only difference is length of beach. and the big one aint that big at all. wala pa sa 1/2 ng buong stretch ng metrowalk.
I know coz nilakad namin from sabang to the lalaguna beaches. in the end, napilitan kami mag-hire ng bangka to take us to white beach kasi ayaw na namin bumalik pa sa sabang. na-700 tuloy kami!
What: June (or July) Tsikoteers Galera Trip
Where: may alam ba kayo na maganda pero murang resort?!
When: kelan nyo gusto??

sino na nakapunta sa inyo sa "haligi". yung secluded na area to the right of white beach... napakaganda dun, walang kang makikitang cottages or shops. semi-virgin yung place. dami coral fishes.
magtanong-tanong kayo sa mga namamangka dun if your adventurous... ihahatid nila kayo dun with a price. just say "haligi". our family friend owns a beach front near that place, so whenever we want to go there, we just use their jetskii or borrow their bangka...ganda!
i would post some pics here pero lahat ng pic d2 me mga mukha. baka mgalit hehe.
just got back from PG last weekend. hindi na ganun kadami tao pero not a good experience for me... when we were at batangas pier, naconfiscate yung lighter ko (which was given to me by my gf about 2 years ago)... the next day, my billabong shorts was stolen. and nung third day namin, muntik pa ko mapaaway dahil sa mga bastos na lalake dun.
