Next week, we will be traveling to Isabela and Cagayan via the Cagayan Valley Road. From Santiago City, we'll take the road via Aurora and Mallig to Quezon. Thence, we'll proceed to Cagayan - Tuguegarao, Penablanca, Aparri & Sta. Ana.
On our way back to Manila, we would take the other side - Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Baguio City, Pangasinan, Tarlac.
I would appreciate your advices about the conditions of the roads (repairs, bad conditions, heavy traffic) along the way.
Thanks in advance.

There are no major road work projects in progress now in Urdaneta, Pangasinan and Tarlac City. I haven't traveled on the alternate route (bypassing Urdaneta) passing through Rosales, Pangasinan in a while, so I have no idea regarding its condition.
Have a safe trip.

on your way back... ilocos sur, la union, baguio, pangasinan and tarlac roads are okay except some rough road segment in urdaneta. session road here in baguio will be opened next week to traffic thus traffic jam will loosen up.
expecting that on your way up to baguio you'll take naguilian road then marcos highway on your way down (take note that there are two one-lane road portion in Tuba, Benguet).
if you need a tour guide here in Baguio pls pm me

I need to go to Quezon, Isabela first. On my way to Tuguegarao, I think I'll go back to Roxas then turn left to the road going to Gamu. Thanks Syuryuken and Baker123.
Yes, I'll take the Naguilian Road on the way up to Baguio but Kennon Road on my way down. Thanks Gumusut_Amige for the offer. But I think I can manage. Are you in town? If I have free time in Baguio, why don't we have an EB albeit a short one?
Thanks too Mikey177 for your response.

hanggang cabanatuan lang maireport ko, since i've been there last weekend.
coming from manila, travel time is 2.5 to 3hrs to cabanatuan depende sa traffic. sementado naman daan but meron mga lugar na tinapalan yung potholes pero nakaumbok naman yung asphalt. medyo matraffic sa kabayanan (plaridel, pulilan, san rafael, san ildefonso, gapan at cabanatuan). bus and motorcycles ang kalaban mo sa araw at cargo trucks naman sa gabi.
have a safe and happy trip...
alas, a nose is easily fatigued. hence its unreliability.
