BPI has confirmed (at least yung acct manager ng branch where we do our transactions) that they would be open on Dec 24 & 29. However, limited ang transactions for Dec 29 (no clearing ng checks, yung ATM payroll also can not be processed) yun yung 2 na concern ko hehe... so we (management sa company namin) are now planning on fallback para pasahod sa mga tao...

malamang mga atm eh outright cash muna for this period...

Open pa talaga banks sa Dec. 24.

Medyo delikado mga establishments na malaki ang cash sales like groceries, department stores, toy stores, etc. 4 days (Dec. 25,26,27,28) na sales ang hawak nilang pera. Tapos another 3 days (Dec. 30, 31, Jan. 1) ulit.

-some banks will be open on the 29th... for sure they're shall be open on the 24th, even though ma-declare na halfday, (but i doubt)...just ask your bank...
    - as usual, take precautionay measures during ATM transactions.. wag mag-withdraw ng walang kasama...
    - plan your atm withdrawals, wag pong gawing "pitaka" ang ATM...

BDO to Serve Clients During Holidays
Regular Branches & Mall Outlets, Available for Services

BDO, one of the country's largest and most trusted banks with the widest networks, has assured clients of continued banking services when they need it most – during the very hectic days of the Christmas season.

BDO announced adjustments in the banking hours and work days of its regular and mall-based branches. The Bank made these changes to ensure that BDO depositors continue to enjoy convenient access to banking products and services even on days or hours that banks normally are not open for business.

Close to 500 BDO branches will remain open for business even during the weekend as well as the declared non-working days within the period December 26, Friday, to December 31, the following Wednesday. Branches located in SM Malls will be operational during the holiday week.

Depositors are advised to go to their favorite BDO branch for further details.

In addition to BDO's close to 700 branches, it has a network of more than 1,200 ATMs nationwide. Clients may also access their enrolled accounts and perform transactions via the myBDO internet banking facility, a secure system within which they can carry out their banking transactions through the convenience and privacy of their internet-enabled computers.
