    November 2009 (2 long weekends)

MANILA - Two long weekends are set next month as President Arroyo declared non-working holidays for November.

The first is a three-day weekend from October 31 (Saturday) to November 2 (Monday).

November 1, All Saints' Day, and November 2, All Souls' Day, are special non-working holidays.

The second is a four-day weekend from November 27 (Friday) to November 30 (Monday).

November 27 and 28 have been declared non-working holidays in observance of Eid'l Adha or the Feast of Sacrifice, held by Muslims after the annual pilgrimage to Mecca. This is based on Proclamation 1808 signed in April.

Meanwhile, November 30, a Monday, is a regular non-working holiday to commemorate Bonifacio Day.

On Wednesday, Executive Secretary Eduardo Ermita reminded the public of the holidays previously proclaimed by the President. -- with a report from Willard Cheng, ABS-CBN News
    --------------------------------------------
    Special non-working holidays:
November 1 - All Saints' Day
November 2 - All Souls' Day
    November 27 & 28 - Eid'l Adha
    Regular non-working holiday:
    November 30 - Bonifacio Day
    TS note:
I noticed walang sticky thread ng holidays at madaming pang threads.

Yup, and these long weekends (holidays) aren't good for us (in our company).
Our "white" counterparts on the other side of the world are going to raise their eyebrows, again.
