    sad but true...

    pero pareng jimmy should have realized that he's in a third world emerging economy called the Republic of the Philippines and not in some uber-rich country like where he came from called the great US of A.

    so i find this video more of an exercise of superiority. you're in the pilipins pareng jimmy so do as the pilipinos do instead of berating everything that doesn't suit your expectation.

    and thanks for the reminder about the socio-economic state of the pilipins. hopefully, there's going to be a miracle and the pilipins will be neck-and-neck with singapore or japan so that next time you visit, your comfort requirements will be well satisfied

    saka bago sya gumawa ng ganyang video, baka mahiya sya sa sinulat nya kung ikukumpara nya sa ibang lugar na mas masahol pa sa pinas. pero di na nating kailangan siraan yung mga lugar na yun. we chose to visit those places inspite of their "bad side". we would rather focus and enjoy the good side of those places.

    The Americans gave us democracy and independence. That is what screwed us up. Filipinos never leaded how to be an independent country in its last few hundred years of history. We are a society without it's own culture and tradition that is strong enough to give us our own character.
