    wow! thanks for that info!!! at last nadagdagan idea ko kung ano dapat ipapacheck ko. ive been scouring the net for infos

    so far nalaman ko is

    1. EGR valve might be dirty
    2. Throttle body needs cleaning
    3. Shift Solenoid.

    but what teh heck. 17k? well, nasa warranty pa naman ito. feb 2006 ito nabili ko meron pa akong isang taon. thanks for that info

    so far ok na ba ngayon city mo? wala na talagang engine brake feel?

    i also have a problem with my cvt jazz

    symptoms are when engine is hot and at N (neutral), upon shifting to D (drive), rpm will drop a bit, car judders and the D indicator in the gauge flashes.

    turned out the "range switch" needs replacement. good thing the car is still under warranty, bad thing is wala pang 1 year sakin ito, may nasira na. tsktsktsk

    it seems that today's electronically controlled automatic transmissions are crap...

    kaya ayoko na ng automatic eh... hindi ka nga pagod sa traffic at pag drive pero pag nasira.. pati ulo mo masisira kahahanap ng defective part...

    mas matibay talaga yung mga conventional automatic transmission yung hydro-matic..

    or better mag manual na lang talaga..

    sir suysuy. I think you really need to pull out your SA, and take him for a test drive. That way, you can immediately give feedback when the issue occurs. Parang MO na yan ng casa, pretending there's no issue. Every warranty claim hits their bottom line.

    yun nga din iniisip ko. dahil warranty pa, feeling ko may tinatago. tsk tsk. im really sure that there is something wrong talaga. it does not feel right. it does not perform right. hindi naman ako magrereklamo kung in the first place wala akong nafefeel na kakaiba sa sasakyan ko.

    TSK TSk...... we have the same problem mR. suysuy...but yours still under warranty..pwede mopang papalitan yong tranny mo...sa akin Honda city 2005 City CVT IDSI 110K na ang reading on ODO ko ....sinabihan ako ng Honda casa na dapat daw papalitan ng tranny which is worth 285K....ang ginawa ko nag tanong ako kung sino yong nakapagtraining sa kanila tungkol sa cvt at pinaka expert sa kanila ....sabi nila nag out of town pa talaga yong gumagawa talaga nito...kaya iniwan ko nalang yong car ko...tapos the next day bumalik ako at tinitest drive nya at doon nya napaansin...at ni review nya lahat ng maintenance rcords ko my isang period na hindi nakapag change oil ng CVT kaialngan kasi every 20K na takbo dapat magpalit ka ng oil...sinubukan nyang pinalitan yong oil at recalibrated at ok pa sa ngayon...hintay muna ako up to 5k baka babalik na naman....ang suspetsa ko kaya nagkakaroon ng problema meron kasing isang time naubusan ng battery yong car ...at pinalitan namn...dapat palang pagkatapos mong mag palit ng battery dapat palang e calibrate ulit or dapat hindi mo talaga paatayin dapat may naka jumper pra may continous power yong sasakyan mo...at plus pa na hindi ko napalitan yong oil ng tranny ko....

    Maraming Salamat...balitaan ko nalang kayo pag bumalik yong problema...

    guys! tama, i forgot to post the FIX here. you can DIY promise! busy kasi ako masyado. im gonna post how to DIY. if i have the time

    but to summarize things up, sa mga nakaka exp ng drop rpm, erratic and jerky rpm during light throttle, just up your idle manually

    malapit sa throttle body, meron cable dyan na nakakabit sa isang metal. lagyan niyo ng maliit na washer yung super nipis lang in between the metal and the stopper (ewan ano tawag dyan)

    meaning, tataas ang idle ninyo konti.

    1 week na naka ganito ang ride ko. so far so good. walang problema.

    dati kasi on a hot sunny day, my idle goes down to 500rpm! and thats the time my problem is at worst! kahit naka park, if ever i give it some gas and release the pedal, the engine chokes and the rpm goes down to almost only 100rpm at nanginginig ang engine!!!

    naintindihan niyo ba ako? hehe

    basta ang fix dyan eh dapat itaas niyo ang idle ninyo. ang naisip ko kasi, the ECU is having trouble maintaining the quantity of gasoline entering the engine when the throttle pedal is release, hence the rpm drop to almost stalling speed and that jerky feeling as the ECU tries to readjust the fuel to the engine hence, the rpm spike and then stabilizes

    but funny thing, 23k pa lang odo ko at 2.5 years na. yung sa iba 100k na dyan pa lumabas?

    i promise to clarify things if i have the time. di ko kasi kabisado anong tawag sa mga ganito ganyan etc

    the idea here is that, you let the ECU think that you are still applying super light throttle on the gas pedal. So the jerk and rpm drop goes away!

    I don't know how to adjust it via the bolt. masikip kasi at masyadong mainit ang mga tubo tubo doon. you have to adjust it while the engine is hot and driven

    up! my fix had failed already! the engine stalled twice. and most of the time, the engine at whole body is vibrating when on a dead stop. RPM is dangerously low. 100 to 200 rpm maybe.

    sino pa dito merong experience sa CVT nila? lets help each other naman.

    ang problema di ako makapagpost doon. only selected members can post kaya useless lang ang pag register ko


    problemado na talaga ako. kusang bumababa ang rpm hanggat sa super nginig ng makina buong sasakyan nanginginig! tapos biglang " tsoooog!" then yung rpm akyat sa 2000rpm

    start stop clutch na talaga ata problema nito

    ipapasok ko ito sa casa next week. in time sa vacation at wala ako klase. tulong naman dyan mga experts. my idle is only 500rpm. it should be 750+-50

    sobrang inis talaga idrive. kahit 60 takbo mo pag release ng pedal parang pumapasok sa 1st gear ang tranny. i can see my passengers thrown slightly forward when this occurs. nag eengine brake talaga

    malapit na mag 1 year itong problema ko. kaso it has been a come and go to worst case scenario na. grabe ang nginig ng makina ko kapag humihinto ako. parang naka manual then alanganin ang clutch at gas kaya muntikan ng mamatay lagi ang engine ko kahit lang man mag shift from p to r or d or from n to d. nginigggg talaga. gusto ko nang ibangga itong sasakyan na ito...

    baka naman hindi CVT ang problem, may be a fouled injector or something else wrong with the engine. Re: not being able to post in the other forum, post ka ng new topic under "Open Tech Section". Ako rin hindi maka post 'cause I'm not an active/paying member. Use that section to ask for help, very accomodating naman sila eh. Hope they can help.

    ive scoured every bits and bytes of infos sa net. ang daming pwedeng sira! grabe. ive printed it already sabay bigay sa SA ko para meron sila guide hehe. target ko before this year ends, dapat wala nang problema itong city ko
