gurus, query ko lang. i did DIY change ATF oil on my car. however, less than 3 liters dripped from the oil pan. it is the same amount i replaced though. query is, is this normal that only less than 2 liters came out from the A/T tranny? any similar experience with the same car? thanks.

yes sir it is less than 2 liters when you drain your atf oil..because almost 60% remain in torque converter that's why it is advise to change your atf every 10k interval just like what I did.

But there are shop who undergo changing atf by machine mas ok yun kasi lahat ng atf inilalabas nya asa 6 liters ata not sure pag lahat tinanggal.
Dont forget sir palinis mo din yung atf filter kaso asa loob un need tanggalin atf oil pan.
    just may two cents sir...

Try to visit isuzu crosswind /highlander group * facebook. just search Team isuzu pilipinas malaki bagay un madami maitutulong sa inio.

yes it is less than 2liter or nearly 2liter. but IMHO not 10k km but 20k km you had to change ATF in tranny instead. 10k km will cost you unwise. usually 40k km was about to change ATF.
