thanks boybi? meron pa bang dapat kong iwasan daan going to pangasinan?
niwde,
There are no other road works I can think of from Tarlac to Urdaneta, and I'm afraid I haven't been farther north in a while so I am not aware of the condition of the highway from Urdaneta to Sison. PM mo si Diesoline, malamang nakadaan sya recently kasi regular syang bumababa sa amin galing Baguio.
Have a safe trip.
thanks mikey will be aware of that area near jollibee. alis kami ng 6:30pm balintawak and hopefully reach sison by 11pm(casual driving). farm is located on the last town before going to kennon. i think me cell no. pa ko diesoline. will try ko contact him. if ever magutom kami urdaneta, will try to drop by you coffeeshop(kung okay lang sayo).
And yes, do drop by at La Pia Taza,- great place to rest and chitchat....
Bro, overall, there should be no problem on the road condition from Balintawak to Pozzorubio/Sison-Rosario....
Passed by this area last week on our way to and from Baguio. Am from SouthMM....
Safe driving!

Mukhang hanggang Sta. Ines na lang talaga yung NLEX. Instead, yung SCTEx ang i-eextend from Tarlac to Rosario, La Union:
Eto yung SCTEx:
Eto yung proposed Tarlac-La Union Expressway (TLUEx):

I doubt kung matatapos nila yung Tarlac to Urdaneta segment by 2010 pero sana nga. Wish, wish, wish...![]()
Ang NLEX to Tatlac is still the original plan sa pagkakaalam ko.
there was no litson manok on the eve of black saturday (manila bound)... past 7pm, nag kfc na lang kami
pustahan tayo,
mauuna pa ito matapos sa *&$(#*!!)&#* na SLEx at SkyWay!!!
Consortium to spend initial P500M for tollway project

A consortium of private contractors that won the 35-year contract to build, operate and maintain the Tarlac-La Union toll expressway (TLUTex),
needs P500 million as initial capital for the project, whose construction will start by September.
"We need it for our first year of construction. That's our first major capex," said Rogelio Murga, chairman of the 10-member Private Infra Dev Corp. (PIDC).
"We already have P250 million in paid-up equity from all shareholders and we're trying to raise another P250 million," he added.
As support to the government's super region infrastructure program, PIDC is set to undertake the P15-billion road project that will span 88.5 kilometers from La Paz, Tarlac to Rosario, La Union.
PIDC said the four-lane expressway would provide massive farm-to-market roads, lower vehicle operating costs and cut by half the travel time from Manila to Baguio City, a prime tourist destination in the country.
The TLUTex's first section from Tarlac up to Carmen, Pangasinan is slated for completion and operation by 2010 while full tollway operations is expected by 2013.

MANILA, Philippines -- President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo led the groundbreaking ceremonies of the 84.5-kilometer, P11.5-billion Tarlac-La Union Toll Expressway (TLUTE), a Malacañang spokesperson said on radio Monday. The new highway, to be completed in 2013, is expected to cut travel time to Manila of farmers and traders carrying agricultural products from northern and central Luzon by an hour."It will especially be advantageous to farmers from the North, like Baguio," Fajardo said over government station Radyo ng Bayan, adding that the expressway from Tarlac to La Union, could extend to as far as Binangonan in Rizal. The TLUTE will also connect to the now existing Subic-Clark-Tarlac Express way (SCTEX), which will open commercially on April 28.Reports said vehicles would be charged P2 per kilometer for the 94-kilometer highway. After the ground breaking rites, Arroyo motored along the segment 2 of the SCTEX before proceeding to a private mass at the Macapagal Nipa Hut in President Diosdado Macapagal Library and Museum in Lubao, Pampanga for the 11th death anniversary of her father. At 2 p.m., the President will attend the 7th anniversary of the cityhood of Malabon, where she will inaugurate the new city hall building and launch the "tinapay ng bayan [People’s bread]," affordable loaves and pandesal that will be made available in government-run stores.Mark Ching, Contributor
