    Pro vs. Non-pro.

    Ano ba pinagkaiba nila? Kailan ba kailangang ang professional driver's license?
    Pwede mo ba ipa-iba restriction mo to drive a truck/bus and still stay non-pro?

    Aside from police clearance/medical/drug test, ano pa ba ang kailangan mong dalhin kapag magpapalit from non-pro to pro?

    unang kaibahan bro... yung pro is kulay pula.... yung non-pro is kulay berde. bwehehehehe.

    seriously, afaik. yung pro is needed if you are driving to earn... if not, you just need non-pro. so kung halimbawa, pamasok mo is bus. pwedeng non-pro lang gamit mo... pero kung magsasakay ka and maniningil ng fare, dapat pro kailangan mo.

    aside from the things that you've mentioned, you need money...hehehehehe.

    Boss OTEP, AFAIK eh pag pag nagda-drive ka ng any PUV or truck eh dapat professional ang license mo. So, kung ganun eh hindi ka pwedeng non-pro pa ren pag nagmamaneho ka ng ng mga ganitong vehicles.

    Requirements (aside from dun sa sinabi mo): original copy of current/expired non-prof license at application form.

    AFAIK bayad ka ng mga between 200-250 petot.

    Papadagdagan ko sana ng restriction yung lisensya ko para ma-cover ang light articulated vehicle (trailer). Hinahanapan ako ng OR/CR ng trailer. Kaso wala dito sa Manila yung trailer at yung papeles ng trailer. 'Nanghiram' muna ko ng OR/CR sa relative ng isang Tsikoteer pang-pakita lang sa LTO (kakilala naman namin yung mga tao dun sa branch na iyon, for formality's sake lang).

    Since I'm going to the trouble of taking the exam (mag-eexam daw ulit, eh) naisip ko lang baka pwede na ding gawing pula. hehehe. Pwede nga ba?

    Hindi ba hassle mag-renew ng pula?

    IMHO

    kailangan magpalit non PROf to PROf kapag ang trabaho mo ay Driver pero di na kailangan police clearance, medical/drug test at LTO written test.

    kailangan din magpalit to Prof kung kukuha ka ng International DL.

    Other than that mas maganda Non Prof kung hindi naman DRIVER ang profession.

    pre. afaik, may exams nga yan...
    pero sa renewal, hindi naman hassle yan. pareho lang din yan ng berde.

    magmamaneho ka ng ambulansya pre?

    Oo nga ano. hehehe. Kailangan din pala ng pula para mag-maneho ng ambulance na may sakay.

    May disadvantage ba ang professional na license?

    Eligible ka ba mag-maneho ng mga double tire na Elf-type truck kapag pula ang license mo? Or dapat indicated din yun sa restrictions?

    Kahit change classification (non-prof to prof), may written exam pa rin tapos may practical exam. Pag nagpadag-dag ka ng restriction sa license, may exam pa din.

    Disadvantage? Pag nahuli ka, seminar ka ng one day sa PNP-Crame or sa LTO Main Office. Pag drive ka ELF truck, dapat pula tapos may restriction ka na naka dag-dag depende GW nung elf truck.

    AFAIK, kahit berde license mo puede ka kumuha ng IDL.

    may exam pa ba kung mag palit from non-pro to pro? hindi naman ako nagexam dati, pero hindi rin ako naglagay. sinabi ko lang sa LTO na gagawin kong pro yung license ko, pinagbayad lang ako ng fee na pang pro na license.

    kung own car mo, ok na non-pro...professional doesent mean marunong ka o hindi..its for as profession/trabaho...

    non-pro cheaper, 3 years, but di ka pwede magdrive ng PUVs or private cars na di sayo...

    pro- much expensive, di ko alam kung 5 or 6 years....pwede ka magdrive ng PUVs or hiniram mo awto ng barkada mo....

    non pro- if you are using a private vehicle, it is the required license.
    pro- if you are driving to make a living(family driver,truck driver,taxi driver...), it is the required license. also if you are using company car(medrep,salespeople) you are required to have professional license

    you can also use professional driving license even if you are driving a private vehicle, BUT you are violating a law if you are making a living as driver and your license is nonprofessional

    Kailangan pa ba talaga magdala ng OR/CR ng sasakyan? Young double-tire na Elf kaya pa ba sa non-pro yun?

    you can accompany drivers with only a student permit.

    bro AY,paano kung gamit ng kapatid ,pinsan na holder ng Non -PRO

    tapos di sa kanila naka register ang private Vehicle

    bawal ba iyon?

    sir tep, kung ung elf up to 4500 gross vehicle Wt...pwede na ang 2...kahit ba 6 wheeler yan...basta mahalaga kung non-pro ka, sa namae mo/magulang mo ang sasakyan, and private...

    kung bro mo, baka pwede, considered pa sa inyo, pinsan, yan medyo mahirap,e....confirm nalang ng iba,e...

    kung hindi,(yellow plate, di sayo ang sasakyan) prof kailangan mo...

    1->MC
    2->up to 4500 GVW
    3->4500 up GVW

    4-7 for special case nalang/disabled....

    Anak ng patola, ang dami kong mga pinagmamaneho at ang dami kong minamanehong mga sasakyan, kailangan na ata mag-pro talaga. hehehe.

    Parati kasi akong nag-fi-fill in kapag kinukulang ng driver lalo na weekends kapag off ang mga family drivers.

    May police clearance na ako. Ang bilis lang kumuha dito sa Q.C. Wala pang 1 hour. Mga Php150.00 ang total cost. Wala ka nang kailangang dalhing requirements.
