    i usually do 120-150 kph sa nlex or slex... pero never pa ako na apprehend... (cruising speed ko more than 100kph lagi)

    when i drive i usually dont stay long on one lane... pag nag oovertake lang ako lilipat sa left or right most lane then balik ulit ako sa gitna....

    ask ko lang pag naka protocol plate ba hinuhuli din nila?

    yup. 122 kph is pretty much normal cruising speed.
    ingat ingat na lang sa mga namamaril.

    tama ba ito? ung laser pwede mo ma detect thru laser detector but but radar, you can't detect it but you could jam it. nababaligtad ko kasi ung dalawa.....

    Nung nahuli yung ka convoy ko last friday, mura lang yung fine. I think not more than 200 petot daw. Kaso ang hassle is sa Lipa Batangas pa daw tutubusin yung license. Binigyan nalang nila ng 500 yung TO, nakalusot naman..heheh

    Pareho nadedetect. Mas mabilis mag respond ang laser. Sa jammer naman kelangan alam mo ano frequency gamit nila dito sa pinas. Imo.

    Wrong.

    Radar - you can detect it ahead of the speed-trap to avoid it. You cannot jam the radar signal.
    Laser - you can detect laser but you would have been "tagged" by then. You can jam it so the laser-speed-gun will not read your speed, it will just display an "error". BTW, in jamming, it is a technology warfare between the jammers vs speed-guns in making unjammable speed guns. So jammers might work today but will not be effective in a year or so.

    The reason why radar vs laser in detection is that radar has a bigger signal scatter pattern. It's like a beam of light from a flashlight, it illuminates a big area. So a car being tracked by radar would have excess radar off it's sides and bounced radar waves as well from vehicles' body. Laser only travels in a tight beam to the target, so there is almost no "scatter" to detect unless you are the target vehicle.

    Tried it with the MMDA peeps along Macapagal & Commonwealth on different days. I noticed they would only laser me once every time I passed with my jammer off. With the jammer on, they would laser me twice or more times before I passed their position. Every pass, I tried to be in the "best" position, either ahead of the pack of cars from the stoplight or running solo (between stoplight patterns) at near speed-limit.

    Note: I had my Valentine 1 with me. Both the V1 and laser jammer will sound an alarm when they detect a laser signal aimed in my direction. During my "testing", my car interior sounded like a fighter jet over enemy territory. If only the V1 sounded and the jammer didn't alarm, it would be considered a "fail".

    Note: the laser jammer would be more effective if speed-limit was higher so the traffic cops would only have ONE opportunity to laser me instead of the 60kph which gives them two or more tries before I pass their position.
