If the officer apprehends you, always ask for proof that you're really speeding. He should be able to show you the speed gun and the indicated speed.

sa Slex wala for sure. Sa NLEX meron nahuli na ako dyan dati doing 140kp/h mga 12-1pm un. Pero nung umuwi ako ng mga 5am i did abut 200kp/h wala ksi talgang kotse iilan lng hindi naman ako nahuli ang ginawa ko ski bawat may overpass babagalaan ko takbo ko.

we were caught once on the NLEX, papunta kami ng pangasinan. my tito was driving our fortuner and he floored the pedal. we were caught speeding at 181 km/h. they took the license of my tito and the picture was e-mailed to us. kala namin hindi sila manghuhuli kahit gabi yun pala may night mode yung speed gun nila. beware lang po, i have heard from my ninong once the Santa Ines to Tarlac segment of the NLEX is completed by 2007 dadami na speed guns nila and they will add their innova units for the purpose of catching and apprehending speeding motorists, American style.

Eventhough I know that Im overspeeding, I'll still ask for any proof. Actually, pictures taken aren't enough. They have to show how fast you're going and much better if the speedgun or detector is capable of getting the plate number.

the pic was thrown by my uncle into garbage after 2 days when it was snail mailed to him. nakita ko pa nga yun bago niya itapon. the pic was all green kasi nakanight-mode. on the bottom left was the make and model and plate number. on the bottom right was our speed. it was like this:

mas maganda siguro kung implement sa buong pilipinas yung plano dati ni bayani na sa banko nalang magbabayad without confiscating the license. mas walang hassle at iwas bribe sa arresting officer. kaya naman kasi tayo naglalagay kasi para iwas hassle. tutal computerize na din ang LTO, d ko lang sure kung may point system na din tayo wherein pag nahuli ka ng ilang beses, may corresponding penalty, like suspension for x number of months.

sa NLEX 24/7, parang sun cellular. wala sila pinapalusot maski holidays huhulihin pa rin nila ikaw. Sa SLEX including STAR Tollway di ko alam... basta ang alam ko buong SLEX naghuhuli sila except lang sa STAR

Actually, mas wala ngang hassle kung sa may bangko na lang magbayad. Ba't nga ba tinigil to dati?

I don't know about STAR, but yung nanghuhuli ng speeding sa SLEX is only on the Skyway. Southbound, before magallanes. Sa umaga lang po ata sila.
