^We badly need an updated, comprehensive "road code". The absence of such makes for own interpretation/understanding of road rules e.g. right of way. Siyempre, it should be coupled with strict licensing, as this road code will be the meat of the written test, before the even stricter driving test. I just hope it would happen soon.

Di porket naunahan mo right of way kana.

Sir if may insurance ka... use it! Unless may tinatago ka on your part. Kaya po tayo may insurance is for ganyang situation. It defeats the purpose kasi if youll pay the truck driver 14k. Actually casa estimates higher than that... swerte ka pa dahil di naman sya casa maintain. If i remember correctly, umabot ng 20k+ yun estimate sa rear bumper ko nung binunggo ako ng truck before. Let your insurance handle this kind of situation. Less hassle and stress on your part. Just my 2 cents...

Entering a Roadway from Driveways, Alleys and Parked Position
"A driver entering a road from a parked position, parking lot, shopping area, alley or private drive should yield to motor vehicles approaching on the road to be entered and to pedestrians on the sidewalk.
In the example to the left, the grey car yields to the blue car."

That's the nearest to your situation where a reference is available.
You're behind a stalled truck. Thus, you're coming from a "parked" position. You must yield.Last edited by Newcomer123; October 23rd, 2014 at 09:45 PM.

1. kapag nakanguso ka na right of way kana
2. kapag nauna ka nagflash ng ilaw right of way kana
3. kapag nakasignal ka right of way kana
5. hazard light is park anywhere light
ano ano pa ba yung mga self made rules natin?
just seen a 10th gen cross 200,000 miles on reddit. is this a unicorn or has the cvt been proven...
