October 23rd, 2014 05:36 PM #22Alam mo naman sa atin... kung sino bumanga more likely is the one at fault. Based on your sketch sa tinigin ko naman nasa iyo na ang right of way. The truck should have given way already.
Reality... bakit naman truck ba napili mong unahan bro? Understandable na hirap yan sa stop and go traffic. Theres a higher possibility that something like that could happen.
I just think that you should have also exerted extra precaution when changing lanes.

Hmmm, a police report should not state who is at fault but rather present itself as an objective description/drawing of the situation/incident. The police cannot make the judgment.
Only a judge, in a civil or criminal case, can definitely rule on who is at fault or not.

First thing that came in to my mind boss is mag-yield siya. Both of us coming from complete stop, kumbaga hindi pa kasi siya tumakbo kaya umuna muna ako.

October 23rd, 2014 06:46 PM #30it's called right of way. hindi po 'yan unahan.
the vehicle going straight always has the right of way.
the vehicle switching lane or turning, does not have right of way. he has to wait for the other motorist to yield to him, even if his eyes turn white with impatience.
unless you can prove that the other guy intentionally made an effort to bump you, it's your fault.
it is not correct for the lane switcher to assume that since his front end already made it to the lane, he's in the clear..
yes, i know.. many drivers (me included) drive aggressively when changing lanes. fortunately, many times, nothing happens.
just count our blessings, so's we don't feel so bad kapag hindi tayo pinag-bigyan ng Nasa Itaas..Last edited by dr. d; October 23rd, 2014 at 06:51 PM.
Buhay na buhay ang BGC this evening. Bukas halos lahat ng restaurants. Sabi pa nung isang cashier...
Traffic!
