officer yung deed of sales ko, but still hinihingi pa din yung license so ibinigay ko na kasi abala. Tama po ba na kinuha niya
yung license ko kahit na 1st offense pa lang. Hindi po ba dapat warning lang muna?
Ignorance of the law is not an excuse.
But you could have talked to the officer in a polite manner to give you a warning because "because you are just a new driver". It might or might not work, but it's a chance.
It also helps if you are a pretty girl. hehehe
Re: Makati traffic rules.
wala namang warning warning. huli talaga.
Re: Makati traffic rules.
boo for makati, you (makati) should find ways on how to improve, because limiting cars on the road is just a temporary solution (a solution that started 1995 or 17yrs ago)
Re: Makati traffic rules.
Yes, there is coding for conduction stickers and they can get your license. A warning may have been given but it also depends on the mood of the enforcer and if you're able to do the "pakiusap" manner on the dot.
Things to be careful about in Makati:
- Mga Binay
- Beating the red light
- Coding
- Not following the lane marking direction (i.e. you go straight on the lane that's marked to turn left)
- Turning right on red signal (if there's a sign telling you to turn right on green only)
- Parking on the streets between 5-7pm
- Watch out always for MAPSA traffic enforcers directing traffic during rush hours (even if the stoplight is operational and not on "yield" mode).

What about yung smoke belching daw? Makati enforcers were flagging down indiscriminately all diesel vehicles passing in C5 last Saturday. Lahat na diesel vehicle, pinapara. What are drivers suppose to do or present para hindi maabala with this?

Crosswind, L300 and delivery trucks.
What can drivers present para hindi sila maabala? Picture nila with Binay and receipt of donation to UNA for Binay sa 2016. :D

Re: Makati traffic rules.
OT: I've heard this story from a friend, who has a friend who's family knows the personal driver of the Binay's.
Anyway, this lady, short of funds one late afternoon, parked infront of an ATM and got some money. Only to find out that her car was already towed by the MAPSA. She called her dad, who in turn asked the driver of Binay for help. She proceeded to the then Yakal impounding area, where she was met by the driver. The driver then asked for her car keys, went inside the yard and brought out her car.
Much to her surprise, the MAPSA officer that towed her car offered his sincerest apologies on the inconvenience he created
Moral lesson: Kailangan maka-inuman ang driver ni Binay! ..
