Faked Date of Birth on my Driver's License

WOW!!!ang dami pala natin, ako naman 5 years dinagdag sa age ko, I was 12 yrs old nung first time ko magdrive with my erps then, I was only 14 when i had my students' license tapos after a month kumuha kami ng non-pro, nakakatawa pa nga nung first time namin nagtry sa LTO QC na lakarin yung license, nahalata siguro ako na totoy pa then tinanong ako kung ilang taon na ko, e nadulas ako and nasabi ko totoong age ko wahehe, nalaman tuloy na balak namin dagdagan yung age, labas na lang ako agad tapos tawa kami ng tawa nung mga kasama ko. After a week ata pumunta kami sa LTO main, may kakilala kasi erps ko dun tapos yun wala na nga akong ginawa halos, di na ko pumila or anything. Nagexam ako na may kodigo tapos yun na ang bilis may Non-Pro na agad, Hanep talaga!. Kitang kita ko lagayan nun sa LTO, pero on the other hand ok lang naman kasi yung purpose nung pagdagdag sa age ko is positive. Actually hanggang ngaun nga para sakin tama yung ginawa namin kahit na mali. I was too young nung nag start ako magdrive , bata pa lang napapakinabangan na ko kasi Mom ko sis, granny ko puro di marunong magdrive and not too interested to learn, si erps lang, and sis ko lately na lang nung nagmigrate na sa tate, kaya kelangan ng backup driver. Dumating pa sa point na si erps e nainjured so walang ibang choice kundi ako ang magdrive at the age of 14. Siguro tiwala ni erps na kaya ko na.

Actually mas responsible pa nga ako sa mga ibang drivers noon up until now na nasa right age for a non-pro license or pro license. In my whole driving career I never had any major accidents , minor meron pero hindi ako lagi ang may kasalanan. Traffic violations puro mga minor lang din like, entering a one way street kasi walang nakalagay na sign, beating the red light kahit yellow pa , U turn kasi wala rin sign etc. but napapakiusapan ko naman with valid reasoning. wahehe. The only record siguro na meron ako is nung nahuli ako sa makati 3 mos ago lang, VIOLATION: Color coding wahehe, naabutan kasi ako ng 7am, di ko kasi namalayan nung nagmeeting kami kaya un sige lang color coding lang naman e, nakiusap ako pero di ako pinagbigyan kasi huhulihin din daw ako ng iba. Actually meron nga akong Color Coding pass nun e from MMDA, kaso di nila Honored sa makati, tsktsk, ang gulo talaga. ANG MAKATI MAY SARILING COLOR CODING, anong pinagkaiba nung sa Color coding ng MMDA, and MMDA means Metro Manila Development Authority, ano ba ang Makati? di ba sakop siya ng Metro Manila,haaaay!!! Tska pauwi na rin naman ako nun at hindi na ko magpapaikot ikot para makadagdag sa traffic nila, tska 1 km lang naman ung layo para makalabas na ko sa District ng makati after nun manila na. Sabi ko pa nga inabutan lang ako ng coding kasi we had a meeting and 7:30 pa lang naman 30 mins pa lang nakakalipas nung magstart color coding and hindi naman traffic that time. Haay naku, sige na nga KUMITA KA LANG YELLOW BOY! Para sa kanila, depende yan sa Komporme and Ang importante sa kanila e yung mahalaga, anyway. Di na ko nakipagtalo sa Yellow Boy kasi inaantok na ko nun wahehe. Tinubos ko na lang P300 only, ako pa nga unang una nung sa LTO Makati City Hall kaya nakuha ko agad.

Balak ko na nga rin sana itama un age ko kasi parang very complicated. No hassle naman kung hayaan ko na lang na ganito pero mas ok parin pag tama para magamit as vaild ID. Pero sabi nga nila 1 yr suspension lang pag surrender mo. Pero sana ma-appreciate nila yung fact na kahit dinaya natin yung age natin naging Mas responsible driver naman tayo kahit under aged. Kung pwede lang gamit reason yung para di na isuspend. kaso malamang hindi valid wahehe

Yung iba nga Professional license nasa speed lane lagi kahit 40 lang takbo. Mahilig sa swerving and overspeeding, mahilig magviolate ng traffic rules etc. Kaya parang awkward din, suspension kasi dinaya yung age kahit na naging responsible driver ka naman. Tapos professional license na unprofessional naman yung driver kasi Malaki dala nilang sasakyan , Ano yan hugas kamay, kunyari suspended yung mga nandaya ng license tapos bigay lang ng non-pro or pro-license sa mga irresponsible kaskaserong drivers na nasa right age kahit di karapatdapat na tawaging professional driver . wahehe. WALA LANG! BILOG ANG MUNDO!

Ako I just realized na mali pala b-day ko sa license ko. Wala akong dinodoktor. Basta mali lang cguro bagkabasa kaya mali nai-print. Alam kong wala itong kaso un nga lang kapos ako sa ID. Lalo na un me pic. Ayoko kasing bit2x ko Passport ko to show as ID.

Balak ko ipatama pag nagpapalit ako from non-pro to pro this summer.

Confirm ba may amnesty ngayon for bithday correction? A year earlier kasi ako kumuha nuon.

may amnesty daw for license issued 1982 or earlier, but not those later

anyone tried to have their license fix with correct b-day? what is the procedure and how can you know you are eligible for the amnesty, hiindi kaya bigla revoke ang license mo at nawala tuloy ka ng license?

I think therre is someone who said he has his license corrected kasi sabi ng lto suwerte siya, kasali siya sa amnesty, pls share naman,

ang labo kasi ng lto natin, may amnesty nga, pero wala naman memo, paano mag-avail ang mga may gusto.

even without amnesty i've found a solution to fix the bday. i cheated some 3 years but i've got it fixed now

Same here, added 3 years to my real age and started driving when I was 15. I don't bother with it anymore, gamit na lang ako ibang ID para legal. Actually I suceeded using my Phil. license to buy beer at the grocery store while I was in the U.S for vacation several years back.

Mga sirs, yung amnesty program ng LTO is yung mga issued ng not later than 1981 ay covered sa amnesty. Example..If you get your license ng 1978, you can apply for amnesty dahil covered kayo ng program, bayad penalty lang talaga. Pero if your license was issued during 1981 up to present, revoke plus 1 year banned from driving.....Just check na lang sa mga LTO offices para sure din kayo......

Isipin na lang natin din na yung drivers license is a valid id and we should correct our mistake.

try this:

make sure your faked license has more than a year before it expires

apply for new student permit / license with correct birthdate

LTO will discover this and invalidate your new license, but not the old one

surrender your new license to LTO. you will be barred from applying again for 1 year. doesnt matter because your old license is still valid hehehehhhe

I think this is a workable method....but here is a question...since the system is computerized already...then Lto will detect also your previous fixed date license(since you applied using your true birth date)?...they will cancel/revoke your new and fixed date license in all?...just a thought.

I think there wouldn't be a problem for a correction of date of birth if it was really an honest mistake...just have an affidavit of discrepancy ready...the problem would be if you're under aged when you first applied for a license...then you have no recourse but to have your license revoked and banned from applying for 1 year.

A friend also told me that the Lto would not revoke this at once...they would let you know first and it's up to you if you would like to surrender your license or not.

ive been in and out of the US for business and still using my ol' driver's license
sobrang nakakatamad lng talaga mag ayos ng ganitong problem...anyway i will try to call LTO later about this amnesty and will post here what they will tell me..

eto nga pla yun news about sa amnesty..last year pa to so sana nga its already in place.

DRIVERS license holders who wrongly indicated information about their age when applying for a license at the Land Transportation Office can soon correct such entries without the one-year suspension penalty.

LTO Chief Reynaldo Berroya said the agency is studying the possibility of lowering the penalty for license holders who have deliberately changed their birth dates.

I already made a recommendation to DOTC [Department of Transportation and Communication Secretary [Larry] Mendoza, regarding the lowering of the penalty and it is up to the decision of the secretary, said Berroya during the celebration of the agencys 95th anniversary.

Under LTO rules, drivers license holders who want to correct their age must surrender their license at the LTO main and a new license will not be issued until after one year.

Berroya said instead of suspension he has recommended that drivers be subjected to a fine with the amount to be determined by the LTO.

In this way drivers need not wait for a year for a new license, he explained, adding that he believes there are thousands of drivers facing such a problem with their license.

At present the LTO has lowered the required age to qualify for a drivers license from the original 18 years old to 17 years old.

He said a drivers license is one of the most important IDs being used by individuals, which is why it is necessary that all information stated in the license should be correct.

easy on the caps please. anyway, I think IF it was a typo, it would have been prudent for you to have checked whatever they wrote in their when they released your license.
