Thanks po Sir ans_lim168 for the good info...

kung family business naman, at nagdadala ng close van, as long as na private vehicle at not for hire...at non-pro ang license,

Usually kasi nag drive ako ng Vios and Starex Manual Transmission. Minsan naman Tucson with A/T and my Pro License has 1,2 restriction ok lang ba yun with my current restriction? Salamat

    this is my simplified definition.

if you derive significant income directly from driving a motor vehicle on public roads, then you need a professional driver's license.
    otherwise, a non-professional driver's license is adequate.

question: may one with no driving background (i.e., not a holder of a non-professional DL), apply directly for a professional DL ?

heyy!! i already said this, in post # 10.
