    i used Havoline with deposit shield 20W-50 and it runs better it reach around 135km/h..& recently i added Valvoline VR1 racing oil sae20W-50.. is sae20w-50 best for a 2E 1300cc carbureted engine? help me please.

    VR1 same one i use on my track toy cant go wrong with that, 20w-50 your fine with also i use 20w-50 on summer also, 10w-30 on winter time your good keep it up.

    20w-50 is good for your engine since a bit old na ang engine. pero try mo rin ang 10w-40 kung walang leak ang engine mo mas magaan kasi ang feel nito.

    I also use 20w 50 on my 2E motor and shifted to 15w 40 less weigt and improved my fuel consunmption.

    its just viscosity grade, the higher the number thicker the oil, on hot weather like philippines you may want a thicker viscosity like 10w-40 or 20w-50. Specially your 2E is old and i bet compression is a little off ok way off the original ratio.

    You'll be fine... I use 20w-50 VR1 racing on my track car for 4yrs now, one thing i like about it is after all day of 9,200rpm redline to redline VR1 will not thin out on you.

What oil is recommended for TOYOTA COROLLA 2E 1300cc?
