Tataas yan sigurado. Nagstart sa sta fe. Sumunod ang sorento, tapos everest. Kaya bili na ng current gen habang kaya pa ng budget

heard from my SA friend that they are no longer going to import the current model starting december, and will just sell all remaining stocks until the new one comes out by Feb-March 2016. so kung mataas pa din demand, baka hindi masyado malaking discount ang ibigay nila.

    Diesel or Gas, your unit?

I would use 15W-40 (mineral) for diesel

0W-40 (Fully syn) for gas (which I have been using since 2012).

The problem with the PTT oil is that is weight:30 which is too "light" for the kind of heat that our units faces in the hours long traffic in the metro.

You can continue using your casa 5W-40 bec. it is better than the 5W-30, IMO. Or you can look for other weight 40 oils.

Many thanks sir, so lower number means bad for a day to day traffic driving condition..i guess i can continue using the cass provided oil..

Maybe when they say the newer models, they are specific to generation. My parents have a first gen fortuner, i have a 2nd gen..both medyo matagtag. I havent driven the 2012 model yet.. so probably your fortuner mas maayos na yung suspension versus older models.

Mga sir normal lang ba after driving kahit 1 hour lang sobrang init ng right side fender ng fortuner yung sa tabi ng battery? Di mo maitagal yung hands mo ng 10 secs sa init..
