Bumili po ako nga black 2010 Fortuner V last 2 weeks ago. Grabe sobrang tigas ang suspension. Ok Lang kung city driving pero pag mag long trip na I hate it ^&*$#*$$. Yung 2006 Pajero ko ginagamit ko ngayon pang long trip. I want to change the stock suspension sa Fortuner. Anong suggestion nyo po? Ang Casa dito sa Davao may offer cla 60K change daw nga suspension to EMU. I'm not familiar with suspensions. Do you know any repair shops here that specialize ng suspension sa Fortuner? Pls Advice po. Thanks sa input nyo.

na check mo ba tire pressure dapat 32psi sa front and 30psi sa rear...trd suspension ang recommended ng casa para ndi ma void waranty... 44k sa metro manila casas.

You might also want to consider TEIN springs. From what I understood from a friend with an older (pre-facelift) Fortuner, it was the springs that were really stiff. When he replaced them with TEINs, there was a bit of a drop in height, but the ride was definitely better.

hi po sorry to interrupt....i think kayo lang po makakatulong toyota fortuner owners...im planning to buy a fortuner by end of this month but still having second thoughts. what i loved about it is the interior (classy) yun nga lang hindi ko gusto yung ride medyo bumpy for me dahil sanay naman ako sa small car,so option ko din is the montero and sta fe but the prob about the montero is, its to masculine for me and i dont like the interior. the ride, according to others is better than fortuner .sta fe naman is ok liked the interior and the ride yun lang 200k difference sayang din ang 200k pang shopping na din yun.then 70k discount ang toyota so tempting talaga, suddenly ive heard baka mag labas na ng all new ang fortuner next year nakakalungkot at nakakapanghinayang kung ganun man... advise naman po pls.......salamat ng marami in advance

where are you located? dami ba rough road sa area mo kung mostly city driving or mostly concrete pavement/asphalt in a province ang road sa inyo so no worries...since i bought my fort i never complain about tagtag i suggest you test drive maybe because i never try it off road but my fort travel a lot from queazon to manila to subic to baguio to bicol etc. never heard any tagtag complain from my passenger. regarding the new fort walang assurance kung kelan darating kung meron man no discount ang price increase for sure...

First of all, I have to say that you will definitely enjoy whatever you end up taking home among these three suv's.

My top 3 reasons why our Family got a 09 Fortuner VVTi.

1. Toyota Brand

2. Aesthetically speaking pogi pa din talaga kasi ang Fortuner. Kahit dumami na ang competition with better suspension and engine, people still buy this bulldog. Take note, among them all Fortuner is the earliest in production (year 2005), Montero Sport (2008) and Sta Fe (2006) yet people still consider buying a Fortuner kahit madaming sinasabing negative stuff about the unit. (Matagtag, D4D issues, etc..)

3. Matibay naman ang kaha ng fortuner pati ang pangilalim. There are pictures circulating around the web of smashed fortuners after meeting an accident. Some would blame it on the unit like fault of the suspension. Pero hindi kaya human error din? Irresponsibilty? Daming high end supercars na nawawasak with 0 survivor. Bottomline, drivers (car, suv, public transportation, motorcycles) should be careful and responsible.
