Kumuha rin ako ng trunk lid cover kay sir talahib before and we met up at Total Calle Industria. Nainggit din ako sa mags nya hahaha. IMO no need to drop na kung ganoon. Sobrang clean look na eh.

With that topic aside, hanggang anong height ng tubig kaya ang kaya ng vios natin? medyo curious lang just in case na kung yung vios gamit ko and medyo may baha. Let's say yung medyo lower sa knee level?

Air intake natin is headlight level. At that depth pasok na ang tubig sa passenger compartment

Maraming sisirain ang baha so kung di kelangan tumawid wag na.

I agree. TMP should've retained the 17s of the XX limited. made it into gunmetal/ dark-alloy color.

or kahit yung 17s ng 1.5S pwede na, tapos gun metal color..

problem is, very different kasi ride comfort ng 15s sa 17s ... maybe TMP thought that majority of the people who buy the vios isn't so sacrificial that they would give up comfort vs looks kaya nila ni-retain sa 15s

although it might also have been due to cost-cutting ...
pero sana yun nga, 16s man lang sana. if ever i'd upgrade the mags 15s oem ako or 16s aftermarket.. drop hmm isip

just saw the unit this morning sa toyota bicutan... naka 16's trd mags un se na nakadisplay nila sa showroom....

I agree. TMP should've retained the 17s of the XX limited. made it into gunmetal/ dark-alloy color.

agree on this. i prefer the Rota GR-A of the XX limited than the Rota Bolognia of the S variant.

Mabigat ang GR-A, try mo muna. Lalo kung naka 1.3L ka. Hirap makina mo. Yung Yaris OEM kaya magaan.

Laki ng difference sa performance. Pero pag naka 1.5L, di masyado halata.

eto I can vouch for this.

17" OK sa looks, no doubt. 17" especially made by Rotas are durable BUT heavy. Big disparity in performance and fuel consumption you might lose up to 3km/l on a bad driving day. Big effect on performance din. But 17" tires are cheaper than 16s.

16" Yaris OEM are lightweight. They are full spoked design (no lip) kaya hindi maliit tignan, when shod with proper size tire (195/50R16). It drives like OEM too, almost no FC and performance penalty. Cons: full spoke design sya kaya derecho sa spoke ang scratches kapag na gutter. Mas mahal ang 16" tires.

got your point bro, thanks for the advise. FC talaga ang mahalaga although bonus na yung sa looks. i'm more inclined na sa yaris mags. thanks again for the enlightenment.

Can anyone suggest na bagay na leatherette sa light blue na vios? black na lang ba with stitch of blue/red or beige leatherette?

I'd suggest yung wipers na katulad ng sa Camry/Altis - hindi siya malambot tulad ng banana type pero iba rin itsura niya sa stock na itsura ng Vios wipers. I googled the Fuke brand you mentioned, parang ganyan nga, pero alam ko may ibang brands pa nito.

Either that or yung banana type wipers. 250 for the low-end brands, but 1k ata yung Bosch.

Since nagchange ako sa 15s OEM mags, medyo lumakas ng konti sa gas. Siguro kung 12-13km/L dati, 11-12 na lang ngayon. But at times, basta light traffic in the city, it can still reach 70 kilometers bago bumaba ang isang bar so +-13km/L. Mixed driving. Eco driving palagi. 2k rpm shifting with sometimes 2.5k to 3k rpm shifting sa umaga sa NLEX (6 kilometers a day since I don't take NLEX pag pauwi) and 90-100 average speed on the expressway.

Btw by bars lang ako palagi nagsusukat ah walang pera pang full tank method hahaha. So medyo +-1 to 2km/L margin of error nya IMO.

I agree ramdam talaga ang bigat nung ROTA GR-A 17s ng XX.

Ilang ulit kong nahiram yung XX ng blockmate ko. Ayun, nabwisit ako kasi hindi sya matipid sa gas kaya lugi ang wallet ko hahaha buti pinalitan na nya yung mags ng mas magaan kasi puro tama at bengkong na yung GR-A nya.
