I have a trip to the province tomorrow and I'll be using the Vios. I filled the car up earlier with 15L of fuel making it 1 bar less from full. Then increased the tire psi from 32 to 33.

I'll be having 4 passengers tomorrow, me.. then three other adults and a small kid [well, okay.. make that five passengers if the kid is included...:lol] Then nothing at the trunk but the tools, spare & jack.

Here's the question, pwede na ba yung tire pressure ko na 33f/30r ? Baka kasi kako masyadong matigas or some sort. Although yun naka-lagay sa manual... ;)

pag ordinary days lang (ako lang mag-isa at bahay-office-bahay lang ang route), 33front at 30rear ang tire pressure ko. pero kapag long drive with passengers, ginagawa ko lang 31psi yung rear.

Right now I have 7 bars, 8 ang puno diba. Hoping to get back to manila with at least 3-4 bars. :p yan target ko.

nag-try akong nang 35 front/33 rear nung Saturday. di ko kinaya yung tigas, binalik ko kaninang umaga sa normal (33/30).

Problema sa unit namin di ko na alam recommended psi hehe. Iba na tires eh.

Sir, kung tama po calculation ko (based sa price dun sa website) mga more or less Php 150,000 ang 20% Down sa 1.3G

For me sir & based sa mga nababasa ko dito sa forums...1.5G ang mas sulit. Limited po ba kayo sa A/T?

Mas sulit yung 1.5 G kasi (paki correct mga vios master kung mali ako)
- Bigger engine so more power tapos mas matipid compared sa 1.3L kapag puno kayo sa vios.
- Optitron Gauges
- All Disk Brake
- Power retract Mirror
- 6 Speakers tapos may audio switch sa steering wheel
- Driver & Passenger Airbag

Pero based on personal experience sir, ok na sa akin yung performance ng 1.3 (1.3 E M/T yung unit ko) medyo mabilis din tapos matipid sa gas (lagi 1 -2 lang yung laman...rarely lang umabot ng 4).

yes a/t lang bro, first time magdridrive ni misis kung sakali.. hirap kasi let go yung optitron gauges hehe,, mostly city driving lang naman.. ako, wife yaya at baby lang for city driving... kung maliit lang diff ng fc ng 1.3 and 1.5 and maliit lang diff downpayment mag 1.5 g narin kami.. pero matagal pa naman hindi pa kailangan sasakyan.. kumusta naman power ng 1.3 sa highway? kaya ba overtake sa bus running at 90kph? kailan kaya darating bago vios? kung 20 % dp guys how much monthly for 60 months?

totoo rin ba sa vios yung may backup na 5 liters of gasoline na di kasama sa gasoline gauge? sino nakaranas na dito na wala nang bars yung gas gauge pero tumatakbo pa rin ang vios?

Usually cars have reserve fuel, mga 5, 7, 10L of reserve fuel ang kadalasan. I just don't know in particular how much fuel does the Vios have as a reserve.

Pero meron yan, sa FD I experienced running a good 6km more kahit wala nang bar sa gas yung gauge.

Im at SLEX now, sipping a hot cup of coffee..... Pootangina the Vios didn't disappoint. Stretched its legs to 130kph since SLEX was unbelievably wide open.

Ayaw ko na i-hataw to 150-170.. May mga kasama eh. :angel:

nawawala ba yung bars? kapag 1 bar na lang kasi, nagbblink na. AFAIK kapag wala na talaga laman at yung reserve na lang ang ginagamit, mas mabilis na yung blink compared dun sa blink ng 1/8 level. kapag na-eexperience ko 'to at kapag nagpa-full tank ako (filled to the brim; hindi automatic), laging 36 to 38 liters ang nagreregister sa pump.

Overtake at 90kph? Yakang-yaka. Just firewall the throttle and the AT downshifts two gears and hits 6500rpm

highest that I achieved is 180 on my stock 1.3E sa nlex. one time bigtime lang at hindi ko na inulit para kasing biglang gumaan na yung pagsteer eh :-)

Time to ease up on the hataw. Bumaba to 9.0 from 9.2 ang mileage ko

Got home from teh south, topspeed was 140kph... Overtaking speed was around 100~110kph. Di ko lang napansin na ganun na pala ako kabilis. :hysterical:

Clocked 200kms today, majority of which was high speed run (5th gear sa NLEX; 4th gear * 90-100kph sa C5 this morning). Traffic pa sa Bicutan exit pauwi, got stuck for about 30 mins... Then sa EDSA rin, moving... But congested.

Aircon was set on levels 2 & 3, thermostat around 1-2 o' clock. I achieved my goal, nakabalik ako sa maynila with 4 bars ulit! Hehehe.

Clearly I can say that the Vios is an incredible econobox.

yung sa 1.3J namin, 160 before sa Star toll. i was following an FD. with 3 passengers hehe kayang kaya.
