    Hi guys,

Question lang regarding sa VIOS 2009 J (manual).

    Thanks.

I've been figuring out the 'sweet spot' in the speedometer and so far this is what I have learned.

80kph sa speedo, steady right foot, maintaining my speed ala-cruise control. Yung nasa lower left, average km/L which is not so accurate. Yung nasa mid-lower, instant FC, dyan ako nagbbase.

Eto naman, foot off the accelerator pedal (Throttle Position 18.0% to 18.4% kapag di nakaapak). Around 70+ sa speedo. Take note na hindi same ang reading ng OBD II sa actual speedometer ng kotse.

My findings, keep the rpm above 1600 for the DFCO to work. Kapag less than 1600rpm, I believe hindi completely shut off ang injectors. Also, don't spend too much time sa 2nd gear while accelerating. If possible, 30kph pa lang, shift to 3rd na.

So far 390kms. na, 3 bars pa gas ko. I'm assuming more than 13.5km/L ang FC ko. Using Seaoil 91 all the way.

However, 1600 rpm for a fuel cut-off seems high. That's already twice the idling rpm. I was hoping a cutoff between 1k and 1.2k rpm.

Active sya palagi, kahit naka-off ang makina.

Then after a few seconds kapag ayun nga, everytime above 1600rpm ako, nagiging 70, 80+ minsan 90km/L ang reading. If not above 1500-1600 rpm, almost same sya sa speed mo. Maybe it uses up minimal fuel pa rin. If hindi 80+ km/L yung reading.

Pinaka-matipid na speed IMO is 70-80. Our unit is 1.3 MT nga pala.

This idea/technique works for me. 13.14km/l
    20km/h = 2nd gear
    30km/h = 3rd gear
    40km/h = 4th gear
    50 or 60 km/h = 5th gear

    City , maintain 1700 - 2000 RPM
    Hiway, maintain 70 to 80kph

dito ko rin to natutunan and it really works for me.

    Shell Fuelsave 400km/30.44 Liters
