You'd have to be hunting for a good transplant engine and transmission, and this is a hit and miss matter. And then you have to be sure with the quality of the conversion or you might have more headaches in the future. Tell you what, you can instead trade your gas Revo for a diesel Revo. That's the safest way.

    There's not much risk in getting a flooded diesel Revo too. Due to the old school nature there are very few electronic parts inside. The most you would probably be changing would be the starter motor or perhaps the battery, and then a thorough oil change.

    Thanks for your immendiate reply sir GTi.

    Yung Revo po namin pala is a 2002 Sr 2c diesel with 118T+km

    2. Also pagkalagpas ng 100T km, yung speedometer nanginginig starting 20km/h until 60 km/h.

    2001 GLX diesel ang amin, currently with 94tkms on the clock. Some of your problems I have not personally encountered yet but I'll try my best to answer your questions.
    1. I suggest you first have a thorough oil change and clean or replace the oil and air filters. If the problem persists try calibration.
    2. Nanginginig din yung speedometer ko but that is because it was already replaced with a replacement unit. The old one does vibrate at high speeds, most noticeably at 4th gear. I believe that is due to the rather heavy vibration of the engine affecting the speedometer needle.
    3. I'm not familiar with this, but the 2L engine has very minimal electronics, so there's little to fiddle with that. You're better off installing an aftermarket air filter instead.
    4. You're going to lift the Revo? Again I have little knowledge in this matter since we normally keep everything stock. If your target height increase isn't very much, I'd suggest bigger wheels and tires instead.

    tuwing cold start mo lang ba naririnig yan? does the "ticking" sound goes away after the engine fully warmed up? if it is yes, nothing to worry about...yung kasi langis kapag first start at the morning e di pa nakaka-circulate yan, yung tiktok sound na naririnig mo valve lift noise yun, nawawala naman yung kapag nag-cicirculate na yung langis on the engine.These lifters require a certain oil pressure to operate properly. When the car has set for a while the oil drains out of the engine into the oil pan. Until the oil pump builds enough pressure these hydraulic lifters there will be a slight ticking noise. In colder weather it often takes a bit longer for the oil pressure to build making these noises more common... pero kung mainit na yung makina tapos naririnig mo parin yan, may ibang problema yan,

    check the cluster gauges, you possibly detached it, have it clean and check the speedometer cable itself, baka may spring na namis-aligned na kaya ganyan.

    3. Wise ba kung gagamit ng additional grounding kit at voltage regulator sa 2c engine? Totoo po ba na mag iimprove yung electronics at sabi din po na iba na may dagdag 5HP din daw po iyon?
    AFAIK, about the additional HP, I dunno if is true for a diesel engine, so far it can only provide good grounding that can result for more crisp sound from your stereo speakers and more brighter headlights.

    4. San po pala makakabili ng schackles or lifters? Sabi po ng mekaniko namin, pag lifter daw ang ginamit eh lilikot yung likod? Totoo po ba iyon?
    wag mo nang babaguhin yan, it's the design of the Revo, just let it stock.

    @GTi,

    Ah. Pagkaresearch ko po kasi sa wiki 2c napansin ko. haha. Anyways, Thank you for your reply. I'll try to test first what you have suggested. Gusto ko lang po sana na pataasan kaunti yung likod kasi more on heavy duty po yung revo namin eh. Most of the time medyo mabibigay yung karga. Eh para po kasing nakikita ko na baka sumayad na sa wheel well and baka may bumigay na parts.

    @zap.FREEDOM,

    Thank you for your reply.

    Talaga po bang past 100T km nagiging ganun? Before kasi wala naman pong ganung tunog. Regarding the cluster gauges, pwede po ba yun na DIY or kailangan po dalhin sa specialist para mapalinis and matignan yung cable? Ganun po ba, kasi po kadalasan po heavy load yung dinadala nung revo tapos minsan po parang malapit na siya sa wheel well. ok lang po ba na ganun iyon?

    2.4L with 86hp ang 2L engine na ginamit sa Revo, Hilux and Hiace. 2.0L lang with 69hp ang 2C engine na ginamit sa Tamaraw FX and Liteace.

    Ang bigat naman ng dinadala mo at sumasayad yung likod! Yung amin di sumasayad kahit fully loaded with people. Try first getting bigger tires and also stiffer shocks.
