Depende kung major PMS or not. We have a 2012 G D4-D M/T and the usual PMS (using mineral oil every 5k km) cost ranges from 3k to 5k depende sa kung saang casa. BTW We used to bring our unit in Toyota Q. Ave, Bicutan and Calamba.

I am about to purchase one but I might not be able to afford it after I factor in the maintenance costs during my auto loan period.

I'll also back read but I reckon it'll take some time.

Anyways, kung may sumagot man maraming salamat po sobra.
i do 10K km a year. i estimate my annual maintenance cost at being less than 10,000 kesos. change oil lang.. no borloloy expenses.
then the LTO registration, that's 4K siguro. the comprehensive insurance will set you back by 20K or so..
the fuel, that's about 1000 kesos per 220 km traveled... you'll have to make your own computation.

i have a 2012 D4D G A/T, still getting serviced by the casa (Toyota Makati or Toyota North Edsa, whichever is more convenient at that time). regular PMS costs me around 5-7k. using toyota full synth oil. i change oil and fuel filter every 10k, change oil filter every 5k. the mileage racks up quite fast since i drive daily from bulacan to makati and back everyday.

you really have to budget for PMS so that your ride will last a long time.

I heard, insurance can go up to P28,000, pero depende sa kung saan ka papa quote at anong price ng unit.

You do not change fuel and air filters in a year?

So I guess my PMS schedule will depend on how fast I rack up the kilometers.

Given my usual drive with our old car, I guess it'll take me somewhere between 20 to 25 weeks to get to 5000 km.

    Sa 10K anong pinapalitan mo?

    To all:

In your experience po, ano na ang mga nasira sa rides nyo na pinapalitan nyo and how much naman po kaya inabot nyo sa replacement?

How often ba kayo naka experience ng injection failure at loss of power sa D4D?

I have a lot of back read so sorry for asking something that might be in the D4D thread.

ang nasira sakin ay ang tires.. minalas at structural bar ang tumama ba naman sa sidewall ng tire... mala suerte talaga ako sa tires.. i changed 3 tires in less than 2 years...

wala akong bad experience sa engine, including fuel injection issues.
tatlo ang innovas sa family, and none of us had mechanical or engine failures worth mentioning..
my most expensive engine-related issue was when my oil filter light went on. i followed the manual's prods, but the light refused to turn off. i ended by replacing the entire oil filter housing. (recently, someone here shared that the light can be turned off by following some electronic sleight of hand..)

i always change oil filter every oil change. but i change air filter only when buga hangin method can not clean it anymore, or if it gets tainted with oil. i do not use borloloys like engine flush or fuel treatment..
i also celebrated my car's 3 year birthday by having the oil change done at the friendly gas station.. it cost only 1.4K and took 30 minutes.. as against casa's 3K and 3 hours!

i use casa insurance. it was over 20 thou brand new. now, it's just 9K for my 9 year old innova E.

    RE: Major PMS

During my 40k kms (major) PMS in Toyota Bicutan, around 12k yung binayaran ko which includes changing all the fluids, etc. Also, the dealership is recommending me for aircon cleaning for another 9k and kailangan iwan yung auto for 3 days.

Hindi ko na pinalinis during that time since 1 year pa lang yung sasakyan at malamig pa naman yung aircon.

    RE: insurance

18k yung binayaran kong insurance this year (for a 2012 model).

    Guys,

I'll be getting the Innova E if ever.
