I wonder if all innova owners here know what is the maximum people / cargo carrying capacity in kgs of your innova ? For your own, safety, its better to know, so that you won't overload it and risk safety. Anybody wants to guess first before I put the information in here ?

i don't. but then, i'm not in the cement or rice business. there's seating for 5 adult humans and 2 smaller humans. that's good enough for me. heh heh.

nabasa nyo po ba yung long post ko? andun po kasi yung kwento hehe. umiilaw lang po yung fuel filter indicator ko pag biglang liko tapos nawawala na. iilaw naman po yun talaga pag may tubig diba. di naman po yun iilaw ng walang tubig sa loob eh. wala na po yung light as i drained it before pero konti lang dinrain ko. ODO ko is 13k.

Ah ok, hindi ko na kasi binalikan yung orig post mo. Pero nung 5K at 10K PMS mo, nagpaplit ka ba ng fuel filter element? You should have and just take a look at the used filter, at 5K kita mo na ang dami ng nasasala na dumi. Sa water accumulation naman, it should be okay kung may makuha kang konti. Idrain mo lang sya ng tuloy tuloy until pure diesel na ang lumalabas. You mentioned you're expecting tubig ang lalabas. Dapat matuwa ka kasi krudo ang lumabas, ibig sabihin walang water contamination ang fuel mo.

Responsible owners will already know how to get such information in their owner's manual and also make sure they use the vehicle in accordance with those recommendation. Irresponsible owners don't care even if you stick those information up their noses.

Mga kapwa innova owners, matibay ba ang pangilalim ng innova? Lately kasi minanalas ako parating na shoshoot sa malalim na butas and i fear that i have busted my shocks or something.. As of now my odo is 3k kms pa lang naman pero medyo wavy na yung ride kahit sa patag na kalsada..

CHECK for shock abosorber leaks... aside from the shocks, matibay ang innova, kasi truck base chassis nyan...

Ano ang nalubak ng malakas, front or rear?

Pag front marami puede masira especially joints or misaligned caster and camber, specify mo na lang sa 5K PMS na i-check nila underchassis suspension parts and tell the SA of the wavy ride.

I just want to ask if anyone here experienced a drained battery? Our Innova E VVT-i A/T had a drained battery last Friday. It was bought last February 2011 and only has more or less 3K on the odo (yup... seldom used.) When my cousin swapped his car's battery just to start the Innova, we heard unusual ticks and he said "mukhang nag-spark ata yung terminals." We also noticed a very slight deform on the battery. We just hope that this is not a case of faulty electrical problems.

Everything is smooth, the doors were closed and the transmission was on "P." When we started it, it did not even ticked. The car has already been serviced at the "stealership" and I'll get an update asap. I just want to know if someone has experienced it already or what are the probable cause/s for such scenarios.

Slight deform or bulging on the sides is normal. Bulging sides is due to too much tightening of the battery holder. Better to bring it to the dealer or if your insurance has free towing service, just have it towed.

Also check condition of the wire harness at the engine bay and underneath for rat infestation.

my battery went flat well within the warranty period. the culprit? my alternator bearing. (and i tell you, ni walang kakaibang tunog!) after fixing it, and an initial battery charge just so the vehicle can start, everything was back to normal.
and those "ticks" might be the alternator solenoid's sound.. evidence that you don't have enough battery juice to turn the starter motor.
and whenever we notice even a slight bulge on my battery case, we replace it pronto. this from many years of push-starting experience..

never pa po ako nagpalit ng fuel filter element sir eh. yeah sir parang krudo po lumabas, hehe, pero nagtaka lang ako bat ganun na umulaw sya ng super bahagya lang. sigurp po unti lang yung water accumulation. thanks sir. siguro nga po sa 15K PMS palitan ko na fuel filter element. :D

We immediately called the dealer and they promised to send someone to look at it on the garage. I just don't know what happened as I am currently out.

yes possible na city driving. kaso yun city driving niya is 3AM tapos EDSA/C5 siya nagddrive.

pero kung "normal" city driving, Manila-Makati route, best i did was 7.5-8km/L with tipid driving mode.
