hi! mahirap po ba talagang ibaba yung spare tire? bumili po kasi ako ng lock para sa spare pero nung iniikot ko na para ibaba yung gulong parang nalusot yung tool na hook sa loob... nag patulong na din ako sa driver namin kaso ayaw talaga maikot

sanayan lang. ma-flat tire ka nang dalawang beses.. sanay ka na..
isipin mo, nasa perya ka, at kelangan mong gawin yan para manalo ng prize..
at baka naman baligtad ang pa-ikit mo..
at gamitin mo yang wheel nut remover na pang-ikot (yung opposite end).

Yes normal. Mine is the digital climate control type.

Used to own 2008 Gas MT. With 7 full sized adults,medyo hihingalin and dapat off aircon, for 5 passengers, kayang kaya.Been going up to baguio regularly at least 3x/year. No problems encountered. Pagalingan lang yan mag shift accdg sa rpm, di ka naman mabibitin, ganda din brake system ng innova, di nakakatakot pag biglang apak.Marcos is the way to go as the road repairs for several sections of kennon is moving at snails pace, mas malayo lang nga, pero mas mabilis.

Share ko lang Baguio trip with my Innova (Oct31 leave).
Going there from Laguna to Baguio took me 6hrs and 30mins with 2 stopover (toilet). Apat ang pasenger ko, medium size.
1. Sa highway, since gas, wala akong masabi, napakatahimik ng makina kahit 120km/hr na , di ko lang mahataw ng mataas pa nandyan si misis , pero overtaking even at high speed parang wala lang.
2. Paakyat na (uphill) medyo kapos nga pag Gas, better Diesel, usually 2nd/1st gear lang, di kaya 3rd gear (with 4 pasenger)
3. May naamoy din akong parang sunog na goma, i think yung clutch yun (normal ba to?).
4. Braking and downhill, superb ang engine brake ng Innova, as well as the brake system, kayang kaya.

I have my GPS (navigation system) so i can go around baguio by just inputting those tourist spots and that's it, it'll take you there (nice gadget to have).

GPS sir, medyo will cost you around 15k. Yung sa akin kasi from my Altis pa, nilipat ko lng sa Innova, sulit naman just type address or landmark and it will take you there.

About the aircon, yup meron din sa akin tulo sa right rear everytime i open the rear aircon sa likod.

Patulong lang po, ano po ang mas fuel efficient, Innova 2012 V D4D or 2012 Fortuner VNT 4x2 MT?
Nagbabasa po kasi ako both dito and sa Fortuner, parang nakikita ko naglalaro sila pareho sa 7km/l? (Correct me if I am wrong)
Halos magiging pareho lang ba ang gastos sa fuel at maintenance cost ng innova at fortuner?

Also, kung Gas na 2012 Innova V ba, mas tipid? (Considering maintenance ng diesel overtime)

Kennon or Marcos?. The innova gas has no sound deadening materials applied because the engine is relatively quiet, the most you will hear is the revving of the engine especially above 3000 rpm. Indeed was able to reach 170 kph as top speed but engine at this point is noisy. In contrast, the D4D A/T has lots of sound insulation in place, as was mentioned, maingay sa labas pero inside, pareho lang noise level. At 100 kph, the rpm is only at 2300 kaya tahimik talaga, in contrast, ung manual diesel the rpm is already hovering at 3000, hence the noise. Also the mileage begin to suffer considerably once you breach the 100 kph for the gas variant, pero worry free talaga ang gas and less maintainance.

Took Marcos (Aspiras) Highway both up/down.
I don't know about "lots of sound insulation" but have ride with our company van using innova diesel and my gas innova and truly big difference.
I also put in my innova the hood insulation (to have less heat in the hood and also reduced noise, i think this is only installed in diesel).
Here's my current gas consumption (this is actual and not anyway via MID reading), i'm monitoring using apple apps (nice apps) every time i gas up i put up the odometer reading, the liters and the price as well.
So far average of 9.4 km/L (just about less than 2k km ODO):

No timing belt?

2010 Innova Gas A/T with 36K . Gas has timing chain, Diesel has timing belt. Every 10K casa pms, cost under P1,700++ cost with my own oil and iridium plugs plus bought a/c filter for P950++ and brake pad changed during 30K pms, P2,200++. Only problem was leaky shocks fixed under warranty.
