Thank you guys for the insightful comments! Where do you guys bring your car for tune-ups/change oil? Malaki ba difference ng service? Please post your quotes too para makatulong tayo. Hopefully, this would help those who are newbies like me who will be having their PMS soon. As what the other nice people here suggest, refer to the manual for the corresponding service to be done in a certain mileage. Last na to, matuto na dapat ako. Thanks!

I actually paid only P2068 during my 15K pms. change oil and filter lang ginawa plus the usual checks. that's 18 months ago pero P10/liter lang itinaas ng oil today. price ng oil filter is the same as well as labor cost. mga roughly 600 pesos incl VAT yung 15K labor.

Mura nga sir. Di ko alam bakit ganun sa Otis. Yung last check-up ko 10k PMS umabot din ng P4,000. Standard check-up lang naman ginawa.

Tama ka Twisted05. Ung decarb nga nagpamahal. Supposedly 'di naman dapat pala kailangan.

4 Engine Decarb-S4 - 3,200.00
- This is unnecessary and price is too much.

Inspected/Adjust Brake Lining and Drums - 448.00
Brake Cleaner - 262.70
- This should be included in 20K pms ( included in the PMS charge ).

Tune-Up package - 420.00
- ano kaya ito.

dati nag pa decarb din ako pero once lang nung i got my 2nd hand vios and have it serviced for the 1st time. ok naman. pero after nun hindi na ako nag papa decarb.s ayang lang pera altho maganda to otis kasi nakikita mo yung auto mo ng harapan unlike sa shaw, paikot ikot sa likod naglalabas na ata ng langis.

Toyota Otis as well. Ininform muna ako that it needs to be done aside from the regular check ups na ginagawa. Tinanong ko naman kung is it really necessary and even ask him to explain what's the importance of it. To my noobisity, pumayag ako. Thanks liv!
To others who might want to compare the pricing of casas, I might as well post the quotation so that we can see if there are differences and check at the same time whether it's necessary or not.

Grabe to . My ride is G model d4d.

Kristine 123,

Yung A/T dip stick parang sa engine oil dip stick din, merong 2 line or 2 hole sa lower part ng dip stick, it serves as guide level ng ATF. Yung 1st line or hole means min level (need mo na mag add ng ATF) and the 2nd line or hole means the ATF is in normal or full level.
