January 6th, 2011 12:00 PM #423Good morning!
Hi! I am new here in this forum. I took the liberty of posting just now (though I'm not yet done backreading the very first ever thread of Innova discussions.). It so happened that I am looking for a Toyota Motor Oil dealers and google directs me to this thread. I will be bringing my Innova this week to the casa for regular check up (15000km). The agent told me once that buying oil outside the casa will cost me less than the regular rate of check up inside the casa itself. I've check Blade and any other autoshop but failed to get one. Have you guys know where I can buy Genuine Toyota Motor Oil and filter?
Thanks a lot!

Yes, that is correct. Ang layo nga, parang Manila to Pangasinan.

If you intend to have your unit serviced by your dealer, then get the oil from them. In my experience, Toyota Diesel Engine Mineral Oil is cheaper than that of Shell's. Depende sa dealer, using oil other than Toyota's might be an issue if engine problems related to lubrication comes up.

sir try mo po sa toyota north edsa. kasi yung sa amin innova g dsl mt 193k dp namin tapos 18k+ for 60months. sila po ang nagbigay sa amin ng pinaka-magandang deal. so i presume buying an innova j, baka mas mababa pa jan sa quotation mo. try mo lang po. wala naman mawawala.
free items (matting, 3m tint, seatcover, window visor, kulambo, plate guard) yung ibang free items basic naman yata like (rustproof, undercoat, standard set of tools, 15liters fuel, 1k and 5k check-up)
then pag nakuha mo na car mo. may free seminar pa (chickenjoy ) at pa raffle (sayang wala kami nakuha )

January 6th, 2011 04:00 PM #428Thanks sir timo07! May nakita ako sa mga online sellers ng Toyota Synthetic Oil and it costs about P380+ so I assume, 'di naman siguro ganun kalaki matitipid mo Kung magdadala ka ng sariling Toyota Oil rather than sa kanila na. Tama po ba? Nung 10k pms ko kasi, I paid for about 4k+. Gusto ko lang i-try if it makes a big difference if I provide my own oil to them. Thanks!

You can inquire sa dealer mo kung ano cost nila. Yung P380, Semi-synthetic ba or Fully-synthetic? It appears to be lower than what I estimate for a Fully synthetic oil. Verify mo din actual price sa dealer mo and make sure to confirm with them kung walang magiging issue if you bring your "own" Toyota Engine Oil sourced from outside. They might still make you sign a waiver but I'm not sure. My colleague, when he chose to use Non-Toyota oil during his warranty period was made to sign a waiver.
