leinahtan, "recommended upshifting/downshifting"

2,000 - 2,500 rpm should be just right. But depending on the terrain, slope, etc., you may have to play it by ear (or should I say, foot) and make judgements depending on the momentum you want to achieve. There's also such a thing as premature upshift and the engine vibrates (eliciting knock) when you move to the next higher gear to soon. This is also a good range to get optimum mileage.

Don't be too comfy....in the other thread, even the centercap of an '80s corolla, gone! I think it's a function of how popular the vehicle is since that will determine your secondary market size. In the Innova's case, "selling like pancakes" - your wheelcap / hubcap will definitely be a good prospect....ingat lang.....

2. Anong na resolve ninyo para sa anti-theft ng ating spare tire?

Bro, may ibang modus operandi ngayon ang mga magnanakaw. They try to deflate the spare tire until it can freely move to unlock it. Pag wala ng hangin, malambot siya at luluwag sa pagka-lock niya. Sory bro di pa rin ako makaisip ng solution sa problema natin. Pero pwedeng makaiwas kung lagi tayong nasa secured na lugar.

Sory bro di pa rin ako makaisip ng solution sa problema natin. Pero pwedeng makaiwas kung lagi tayong nasa secured na lugar.

I wonder how the thieves can deflate the spare tire if it is secured with the outer side facing up, thus making the tire valve safely invulnerable.

here's my latest ave. fuel comsumption. MID = 9.1 km/l. manual computation = 8.5 km/l (374km / 44.13 lit). about 6.6% error. combination of city driving & highway (SLEX) driving. use caltex vortex silver. G variant A/T. total mileage - more than 1,100 km. due this sat for 1k PMS.

sa mga G gas A/T owners, pa post naman ng ave fuel consumption nyo...

bro, ganyan din mileage ko nuong nasa 1k pa lang odo. pero ngayon nasa 4.9km/ltr (143.1km/29 liters) as of last nite ng magpa-gas ako. nasa 4,300kms pa lang natatakbo ng unit namin.

2. J lang yung sa akin, pero sobra naman sensitive ang alarm.. i-open mo nga lang yung side mirrors nag-aalarm na eh.. hehehe
3. during break in, nasa 80-90 km/h lang takbo ko.. after 1000kms max ko pa lang 140khp.. kaya pang itaas, hindi pa kasi sagad yung pedal eh... kakatakot nga lang..

maybe aftermarket na ang alarm system mo kasi the J model even dont have a keyless entry function.

i'll check my unit (G DSL m/t) again when i go back to manila next week to know if meron ba talagang shock/motion sensors.

There are none AFAIK.. those are aftermarkets alarms only...

Ako, since usually d ko gamit ung 3rd row seats, tinanggal ko muna ung spare tire at nilagay sa loob ng sasakyan.

cc) Is the power switch of the foglamps linked to headlamps?
