Toyota Innova Cabin Filter cleaning

[Mile2]

Cabin filter keeps your aircon duct outlets clean from dust from the blower.


Remove the lower glove compartment by pressing both sides.





Locate the release clip of the cabin filter, this is on top of the aircon blower assembly.





Remove the lid and slide out the cabin filter and dust it off using paint brush.




This may also be same with Fortuner, Avanza, and Hilux

Tawagan mo na lang ako kung saan ka nagpa-park, puede ba akong magpark dyan hehehe problema namin ang parking. Boracay yung parking namin hehehe daming bato at buhangin.

Parang I do believe na yung sayo ay iba samin ni Leinatahn...

although they look similar with that 2x10 lid

BUt yours is detachable with clips

while ours is fix, meaning you need to cut it for one to be acessible..

tinanong ko na sa casa ito dati and they told me na bubutasan pa nila yan after ako magpa-cleaning sa kanila...

Correct me if i'm wrong...

Tinitignan ko rin yung picture taken by Leinathan, mukhang fixed nga ang sa inyo. I was also thinking that it can also accomodate the filter if the lid can be cut out.

So there's probably two versions of the blower assembly, those that don't have the filter will definitely needs lots of cleaning and this makes the P7,000-P9,000 service fee. I can only imagine how dirty and dusty those aircon outlets are by the amount of dust I can removed from the filter element

Thanks for the valuable information regarding the cabin filter cleaning. Available kaya ito sa mga spareparts stores if you want to change it? As some said, hanggang anong model ng Innova natin mayroon clip yung cabin filter door chamber. Sa akin 2006 J variant, pero wala ring siyang clip to open and get the filter. As if buo yung placstic housing niya sa ibabaw ng filter motor. Pag ganito kaya ang nakalagay na plastic housing sa cabin filter> baka walang filter?????

Pareho din ng unit mo ang sa akin, i got it jan 2006, di ko rin mabuksan ung sa aircon filter, naka fix siya.

Mine is Oct 06, first batch of 07 Model with wheel well cover and new honey comb grills.

Pirated??? hahaha baka pang Camry ang kinabit sa akin, kasi ako minsan ang tumatanggap ng mga bagong deliveries ng Toyota sa office...LOL! Kahit tastas na free seat cover di nakakaligtas sa akin

Minsan tinitignan ko nga ang makina ko baka pang-Camry din Matipid kasi, kanina nag 12.4 Km/li ako papasok ng office.
