The 2KD-FTV (presently on the Innova D4-D "J", "E", "G", "V" ; Fortuner "G" D4-D ; Hi-Lux "J", and "E" D4-D) is already turbo charged but no intercooler like the 3.0li 1KD-FTV on the Fortuner "V" and Hi-Lux "G" D4-D.

i thought i read somewhere that the new hilux is not available in japan,,, but in thailand they do have the 2.5 D4d with intercooler. they also have the 3.0D4D which looks exactly like a 4X4, but really its just 2wheel drive...

You're right no IMVs in Japan, but rather for developing countries like ours and in Europe.

In Thailand, the 3.0li D4-D is even available on their Hi-Lux single cab "J" trim variant!

I have a Hilux 4x4 3.0 D4D.

1.5 yrs old. 10,000kms, Petron fuel, Fortuner rims. OME rear shocks. 10.6 kms/li . So far, so good.

Sucks to park, though.

after viewing the new strada, i have decided to purchase the hilux E.
baket? una kasi budget ko is below 1M. pangalawa is i don't like the interior of strada, i feel the hilux J has better interior finish quality than the strada.

now i wait for my unit...

ill be getting one soon and i think the 15s on the hilux look puny.
looking at the rota brochure i have with me, konti lang available for suv's...
any suggestions for cheap/good looking rims + tires would be great.
