Hi sir, newby here.. May naka-experience na po ba sa inyo ng annoying vibrating sound from sliding door ng GL Grandia? Thanks sirs..

sir same tayo may lagitgit sa sliding door,pina check ko n din sa casa nilagyan ng silicon yun door step nawala naman problama bumalik din.nag grease din ako ng mga roller at mga rubber ganun padin eh ginawa ko na ang lahat..2013 GL yun van 70k mileage nag start yun lagitgit 10k mileage..

FC and performance will be better with the manual. But if you just want driving ease and comfort, automatic.

If you will be the one driving, matic na for comfort. Pag driver, manual

Our Grandia GL m/t does 10km/L in the city and 12-13km/L highway. I would expect the a/t to do around 6-7km/l in the city; my basis is that our Innova a/t does around 7-8km/l in the city.

Kung may driver ako or ipapabyahe ko yung van, MT. Pero kung ako magiging driver, AT na lang kesa isumpa ko traffic dito sa atin.

between my montero AT and super grandia AT, mas matipid yung grandia. nakapag-biyahe na kami convoy to baler, to pagudpod, to quezon, to cagayan....i drive them both in all occasions palitan kami ng bro at wife ko. may actual data ako ng FC ng montero ko averages 8.5 to 9.5km/li of mixed city and highways. yung grandia wala ako actual data pero i'm certain mas matipid kasi sabay kami nagkakarga with same no of liters pero 1/4 na lang sa fuel gauge ko ng montero, medyo nasa kalahati pa lang yung grandia.

sa akyatan wala ring problema, minsan iwan pa nga montero GTV ko sa mga zigzags na paakyat. talo lang siya sa highways lalo straight road, iiwanan ko naman sa arangkadahan. i like them both, it serves their purpose. yung super grandia very comfy kapag mga out of town trips. kapag meron kami papasyalan na malayo, agawan mga bata sa grandia hahaha! malaki lang kaya cumbersome minsan sa mga parking. pero all in all ok siya

Anj0417: I have an SG, sir, and magkasing laki ang SG and GL. Kung ako sayo, sa automatic ako lalo kung gagamitin mo sa out of town trips. Mas hindi nakakapagod. Even if may driver ako, A/T padin kasi I would never know kung kailan ko siya ida drive and ayokong idrive ang ganyan kalaking vehicle na M/T.

For the wheels and tires, gayahin mo nalang ung naka kabit sa SG leather, maganda na un.


*vinj: We almost have the same reading, sir vinj. Pure city driving with very heavy traffic, it's in the 8++ kms/liter. It hasn't gone to the 6-7 kms/liter so far kahit sobrang traffic. Highway, around 10 to 11 kms/liter pero halos stick lang sa 100 kph ang speed namin and wala ung mala UV Express Commuter driver mode.


*monty_GTV: Nung nag convoy kami noon, my uncle decided to use their Starex GRX instead of their Monty GLS SE kasi 3 families kami kaya para mas madaming makarga na tao. Sabi ko nga ung Mustang nalang niya.hehe

We went to Bulacan, Baguio and spent the night at our rest house in La Union but before that, we went to Thunderbird in San Fernando, La Union too. Went to Manaoag then Clark and dropped our relatives back to Bulacan on the way home.

My SG:

QC(filled up the night before the trip)-Bulacan-Baguio-La Union - La Union-Manaoag (filled 1000 peso worth of diesel along the Pangasinan)-Clark-Bulacan- (Filled 300 peso worth diesel in Bulacan)-QC (filled up in Unioil, Regalado. Around 1,400)

Napaka konti lang ng naikarga ko throughout the trip pero ung Starex GRX ng uncle ko, walang ginawa kundi magpakarga. Nagpa full tank sa NLEX (Petron Lakeshore), nagpa karga ng 1k sa Baguio, nagpakarga ulit ng 1k sa Aringay, La Union, sabay kaming nagpa gas up sa Petron (1k worth of gas) in Pangasinan en route to Manaoag then sa QC.

If you just want to keep the 15 steel rims and hub caps (lagyan mo lang ng zip tie), change the tyres to the 225/70R15 a/t tyres similar to the ones on the Super Grandia leather. Gaganda yugn stance; otherwise, for me the best upgrade is the 17's from a Fortuner.

With the Grandia GL m/t, a full tank can last me for a 4-day, 3-night Baguio trip if i pushed it (and this was with no TPLEX at that time). Also, best to maintain the stock diameter tyres or slightly bigger diameter tyres, our FC on the highway went down drastically when we placed smaller diameter tyres (215/70R15) before.

i used oem toyota rims sa s. grandia ko size 225/55/R17.

guys, you might be interested in putting headrest on your commuter, para maibsan naman reklamo ng mga sakay nyo.. lagyan nyo ng headrest. call/ text me at 09176492717. mabilis lang ikabit, hindi na kelangan ng butasan sa upuan.. iniipit lang sa handle, you just have to replace the screws with a longer one.

Yung OEM head unit po ba nde pwede gamitin ang iphone through aux cable?

Ang bagong grandia wala ng space for baggage sa likod pag naka baba lahat ng seats?
