Go with the dealer that is most convenient for you. Try checking at least two to see who gives you better service and the best deal during your inquiry.

Google "Roy PDR". They did our car before and we're happy.

Time flies! Magwa 1 yr na SG ko on the 3rd wk of August. Ibig sabihin din nun ay tapos na din this month ang 1 yr to pay loan.

It's already logged more than 15k kms. Been to a lot of travels too. Sagada and Baler di pa namin napuntahan. Always full load pa lagi pag mag out of town kami.

15k km PMS in Toyota Otis was just a little more than 5,200 pesos. Mura talaga PMS ng SG.

Got my 2nd hand GL last week. 3days sa mechanico for change oil and filter, brake pads, etc. 5days sa detailing for interior detail.

    Upcoming project:
Clean EGR, PDR, install LED light (for reverse and dome light).

    Also considering:
3m copy matting, leather seat cover, change tint infront, change head unit, change mags.

Nice to hear that. When I drive to Baguio late at night (around 11pm), there are times na almost all the cars na kasabay ko on SCTEX-TPLEX are Hiaces.

The 20K and 40K service stops are usually the more pricey ones.

*vinj: I recalled when we went to Baguio, we stopped in Caltex in Junction. We were the first one there. After all my relatives were done with their bladder break, the parking lot became ala parking lot of Hiace group. Literally the lot got filled with Hiace from the oldest generation to the newest but mostly Commuter and GL variants. One of my uncles even got confused on where to ride since the 2 vans at my sides were GL's.

It took me almost 1 yr to reach 15k kms, ikaw 6 months pa lang, 12k kms na. Mukhang booming ang business mo.hehe

I've computed the total cost of all my PMS up to 15k kms, it's only 10,250++ lang lahat. May voucher kasi until 10k kms kaya mas nakamura but still. No wonder na kahit na more than 10 yrs old na siya, the Hiace still dominates the market in van segment sa dami ng bumibili para gawing pang rent.

Planning to get a NV350 or GL Grandia. May mga client na maarte din. Ayaw ng commuter

Yeah, the Hiace seems to be a probinsya favorite. When we first got ours in 2007 halos walang kasabay then suddenly dumami in the last few years. :D

Re. the Commuter, i doubt it will be nice as a rental van already especially for the long hauls due to the lack of comfort. It's really more suited for utility and shuttle duties.

I'm curious to see how the new Nissan van holds up; looks good.

Siguro tulad ng nangyari sa kakilala ko who rented a van on their recent Manaoag-Baguio trip. Kaya sabi niya next time daw ang irirent niya ay ung she calls it "mas matabang Hiace."hehe

NV350 looks the same as the Commuter and looks promising. May laban siya sa Hiace. Magkakatalo nalang sa price of maintenance. If I were in the rental business, GL Grandia bibilhin between the 2.

I also still like the Super Grandia to this day. Call it slow and whatever versus a Starex... i still like it.

Since attached ako sa Grand Starex namin. Hehe
Kaya Hiace good for business talaga. Matagtag ba GL Grandia? Never tried makasakay kahit minsan.

Ok naman for me ang ride ng GL. Kaso mas comfy pa rin ang starex. Hehe.

kahit anong sasakyan, kapag punung-puno, nakakapagod..
the trick is to underfill the vehicle.. then it becomes more pleasureable for everyone.

I saw a commuter type pero Foton. Reading this thread, marami na ayaw ng commuter, they prefer GL. But personally, i am driving GL, but my heart wants Commuter. I am not used to driving Van kasi... but no regret, nakakaya pa naman idrive un GL.

I heard that commuter is faster than GL because of the lighter body. I wonder if casa have test drive unit for commuter?

*dr. d: Not always. Sometimes the type of vehicle has an effect too. I've ridden in the Commuter 5 or 6x already pag nasa out of town trips ako, yan kasi ang narirent ng nag aarrange ng sundo or pang libot namin sa area and I own a SG and whenever we go out, it's always at maximum seating capacity with luggage and kung ano anong binili sa trip. At the end of the trip, level of stress and fatigue is so different. Incomparable. Not even close.

*Photoaddict: I think the Commuter is much better if for the driver.
