Toyota Hiace Commuter/GL Grandia/Super Grandia Owners & Discussions Thread [Merged]

Had my first 1000km PMS awhile ago at Toyota Marikina. They let me choose what kind of oil to put: synthetic or ordinary, and gave me the pros and cons of each. In the end i chose the ordinary oil to save moolah, and besides I don't need synthetic as I will easily reach the next 5000km due to the nature of my hiace (van for rent business).

I observed the job being done all the time. I even talk with the mechanic and ask him questions about optimal tire pressure, good choice of brand of wheels, and other tips I didn't know about. In short, the mechanic is very accomodating and really has the technical know-how. I even ask him if the engine of the commuter, fortuner 4x2 Gs and innova D4D are all the same (based on the engine model 2KD-FTV) he said it only differs in the size of pistons or displacement something.

All in all, my first PMS is OK to my standards. They even let me take home the excess oil for topup purposes.

thanks sa picture sir kevin.. ganda po nang loob ng hi ace nyo, inatras din po ba ng konti ang mga upuan?
ilang oras po inabot ng pagkakagawa? kaya po ba ng 1 day lang? dito po kasi ko sa province eh sa tarlac po..

nako sir 1 week yan yup inatras yung upuan then recline ng konti + headrest kaya ang luwang sa loob ngaun

kaso parang sobrang luwag sa loob to the point na halatang kulang ang mga upuan hehe..
anyway, san kaya makakabili ng emblems na "D4D" at "Toyota HiAce" na parang nakakabit sa GL at Super G? thanks.

nice ok ang yari maganda!!! san ang loc ng mGsquare?bale yung nasa 2nd row pala ang inalis yun bang nasa dulo na folding seat as is pa din?

tagal din po pala sir hehe.. bale iiwan po ba yung unit pag pingawa or susukatin nalang muna nila tapos babalikan nalang?

sir madami silang branches dadalin nila sa pinaka main nila sa novaliches yung tinanggal nila is yung sa 2nd row yung sa dulo pareho padin
bale yung 2 rows may headrest na..
*jacktech yung unit namin iniwan namin dun medyo matagal siya pero sulit naman hehehe
