all current Grandias have turbos on it, the commuter is the cheapest among the variants and can seat 15.

In real life driving, the 2.5 is actually well matched to the vehicle. Im pushing 150kph when running calls on nlex. My mb100 tops out at around 130kph and acceleration is not as fast as the hiace (we use commuter and GL units).

That what I like from Toyota; parts availability. They're everywhere. But, I like the Starex because of comfy ride,powerful engine, price (CVX Premium Starex is almost the same as GL Grandia but the former is fully loaded) and loaded with accessories (gray market).

Sa pagkakaalam ko Fortuner, Innova and Hilux lang ang may D4D choking issues, wala sa Hiace. Pero parang issue lang yan sa mga mas lumang D4D.

^I think Toyota corrected that way back from the first 2006 releases. Di na ata applicable sa mga bago.

Yes sir:D 3 to 10 minutes, depende sa takbo. Pero normal ba pag 1st gear e mag spool na turbo? Ala kasing tachometer di ko ma estimate ung rpm.

Hi, need your advice. I've read in past post that grandia wont fit parking of Robinsons galleria and shangrila. are there other malls that grandia would not fit?
We're inclined to get the grandia over starex but unsure if grandia's height would be a problem.

Tanong lang kung may nakaranas na sa inyo nito sa hiace. Mine is a commuter. Kanina sa nlex 120 to 140 takbo ko. Pansin ko parang lumilikot manibela. Parang gusto gumawa ng sariling daanan. Nagtry ako na bilisan pa baka mawala ung likot ng manibela. Sa sctex 170, ganun pa rin. Ang tire pressure ko 37. Normal daw ayon sa manual e 51. May nakaranas na ba ng ganito sa inyo? Tia

Mukang alam ko na problema kung bakit parang anlikot ng commuter pagmabilis. Theory lang naman. Dahil sa stock rims.

Sa Rob Galleria, Kahit yung L300 namin dati, sumasabit na at some parts. Sa Shang, just avoid the parking sa taas ng maim building. Ayala Tower One sumasabit din.

Manipis and width ng OEM tyre ng Commuter and GL Grandia (195). We changed to 215s on our Grandia and the highway stability is much better. Id go with the 225s from the Super Grandia the next time (lest we sell tge van sometime soon). Lower your tyre pressure also. 33-35psi is more than fine.

Changed also the rotors on our Grandia last week as the OEM ones were warped already. Cost me 4.2K for a replacement set (Powerplus brand) from Toyorama and P800 labor at Wheelers. It's harder to replace the Hiace rotors as the wheel bearing hub is on top of the rotor but with the proper tools and know-how to pull out the hub and rotor, it can be done.
