when i had mine it consumes 8kms/lit on city driving (makati mandaluyong) and 19 to 20kms/lit on highway driving, a/c on all the time.

though mine was the E version. same engine specs with the J

I drive an altis E and I'm getting 9.5 - 10km/L sa city drriving. Hindi ko pa natry sa hiway. I drive an AT.

Malakas ang torque ng altis but in mid range iwan ka na.

i have a 1.6G AT (2wks old) average consumption is 9KM/liter. city driving to chief with AC on all the time, haven't tried the highways yet. wala pa naman major problems ano naeexperience (dapat lang bago pa eh). though there is a slight vibration sa rear view mirror, nakaka-distract yun rattling sound pag hindi naka-on yun radio. tapos slightly veering na yun sasakyan sa left when going at a straight line, i guess it has something to do with the alignment. im gonna have both checked this weekend hopefully.

I just got a used Altis last August, mine is a J model A/T, so far ok naman sya, tune up agad when I got it then replaced some suspension parts including brakes, so far FC ko is 8.5km/l city driving, cguro I could get 9km/l kaya lang galit paa ko sa accelerator eh

i read somewhere na isipin mo daw that you're stepping on broken glass everytime you step on the gas para tipid sa gasulina so far its working for me whenever i drive (panay coasting pa). ang target ko talaga 10km/liter (o kung swertehin 11km/liter) city driving

got our 2007 altis 1.6e mt last march. so far, happy naman ako sa performance nito. got a fuel consumption around 12km/li on mix city and highway driving (using 215/45R17 tires).

for the bodykits dami dyan gumagawa. search mo nalang like clifford, starbright, careation, ersmotorsport.

try mo rin visit/register sa www.altisclubzz.com forum. exclusive club ito for altis. pwede ka rin mag join sa mga eb's ng club para mas maraming modifications ka malalaman at makikita regarding altis. hth.

sa mga nakakuha ng Brandnew...gaano katagal nyo nakuha unit nyo? at saan dealer nyo? upon paying for reservation.

di kaya reservation lang kasi binayaran ko kaya dipa nadeliver unit ko? need ko yata bayaran full DP para madeliver agad..tingin nyo?hehe

hindi ko alam yun patakaran nila on how the plant releases units sa dealers. i also think the reservation will not mean anything unless your SA requests a unit sa planta. yun sakin months in advance ako nagpareserve pero hindi pa nagrrequest ng unit yun SA unless na sinabi ko specifically na kumuha na sya kasi ready na ako. yun unit ko took more than a week para marelease upon issuing my DP. kung kaya mo naman irelease na yun DP irealease mo na. ang pagkakasabi sakin pila pila kse yan chief antay ka lang dadating din yan .

mga problems na encounter ko:

1. may rattle sa steering wheel, experience ko lang dun sa underpass ng megamall na rough yung ramp pababa at paakyat.

2. yung dalawang shocks sa harap pinalitan on one of my routine check up and maintenance. may factory defect daw.

3. the ABS does not seem to work as i almost lost control of the car twice travelling on nlex.

other than that, the car was great

i had my sideskirt done at casa. swak na swak at maganda shape and finish

mga problems na encounter ko:


3. the ABS does not seem to work as i almost lost control of the car twice travelling on nlex.

To check if your ABS is working, if you brake on it hard to the point of the wheels locking-up you should hear/feel a fast grinding sound.

We have an '07 Altis J. Although i never got the actual fuel mileage yet, i'm expecting the range of 11-12km/L in the city if driven conservatively. The gearings are kinda short and the engine gets "thrashy" at high rpms (it's sweet spot is in the 2K to 3k rpm range). If you're over 6ft in height you'll also find the driver seats adjustment limited. Overall, it's a good, generic everyday car... i liken the a/t versions to driving a golf cart.

Tips lang tsip.

Got mine last may, seems mine got lots of problems. Body vibrations at 35-40km/h. a little rattle down, dunno where, but its minor. Tumotope and advise ng SA is to have a gas with octane rating of 95+.

City driving is around 8-11 k/l. Hi-ways at 14 k/l. A little aggressive driving, medyo ramdam mo lang kasi ang hatak at 3000k rpm up. Nasanay kasi ako sa honda cars.

Medyo malalim ang stick shifting, compared to other cars that I have driven before.

Try to have the headlights adjusted if it is factory done, medyo mababa ang focus. Better test drive other altis and compare it to your unit.

Got my altis yesterday evening from toyota commonwealth. Drove it from SM north Edsa to Macapagal-Pasay. very comfortable and smooth ang byahe. napaka quiet sa loob at wala naman ko narinig na mga kalampag sa 1hour na byahe. tried running *50kph and oks naman ang handling.

sana wala ko maging problem sa mga susunod na mga araw...

sa shifting naman ay oks lang..sanay kasi ko sa kumakagat yung shifting para atleast ay alam ko na nailipat na..medyo need ko lang sanayin sarili ko.

if kukuha kayo or may kilala kayo kukuha..refer ko kayo sa SA ko na super sa asikaso..anytime of the day pwede mo itxt at mabait pa..
