the AE101 is the body code for the Corolla 93 to 97 model.
XE & GLi would refer to the spec of the car, 1.3 carb or 1.6 efi engine and with what kind of interior, mags, etc. it came with from the factory.

the AE101 is the wide bodied corolla, let's see ... the second of the new models that came out from 1990. before the very first altis (ae111)
ae101: corolla gli 93-97 1.6 liters efi
ee100: corolla xl/xe 93-97 1.3 liters carb
kung gus2 mo matipid sa gas mag xl/xe ka. kung gus2 mo mejo matulin, mag gli ka. hth.
The Ae101 corolla has the 4afe engine which has at least 110-30 hp corect ba?ung 1.6liter ryt??

200k for the GLi model?! meron ka ng makukuha nyan pero chambahan ang maganda and mint condition for that price.
At 200K you can find a GLi but this will probably be the older models (i.e. 92-95) and the mileage/condition will be question mark... You can find a '96-'97 XL and XE if you look around (and di ka maunahan ng mga buy and sell)...![]()
with an engine swap 4AGE 20valve, it will beat the crap out of the SiR.Originally Posted by squala

A friend of my brother is selling his 1998 Corolla GLi automatic with 40tkm, for 310T. Is this ok? any problem areas? thank you!!
ok na yan considering 40k km lang ang mileage nya for a 5 yr old car.
to compare the prices, you can log on to www.buyandsellph.com
The price is prety good (more or less the current price range of the '98 GLi's)... SIcne the mileage is 40K only and you know the owner, that adds to the value of getting it.
