I'm sure the audiophiles here would be interested in discussing this. I would not be surprised if some people have upgraded already...would be nice to hear their experience. Any mods needed to replace speakers?

I'm *tolerating* it right now (which is something I haven't had to notice with the Fiesta), but with 2-hour EDSA crawls, a quality audio system helps drown the madness.

I can definitely relate to EDSA and the need for a good sound system.

I am initially thinking of a DSP, 2 or 3 way seps and a sub. I would like to retain the stock radio. Unless the reviews of the "stock altis 2 din head units" being sold locally is any good then it could be an option rather than the DSP.

Hi, the sound coming out from the stock HU and speakers on my 1.6V is not good. I plan to replace the stock speakers (paper cone) with Rockford Fosgate (Mylar cone): separates for the front and 3-way co-axial for the rear. I'm not into loud rock or hip hop music. More of the sound quality pops, instrumental and classical. Any comment please?
