Good day to All,

Napansin ko lang on the 2008 Altis 1.8V masyadong malambot yung suspension nya lalo na sa likod laging sumasagad which causes a "THUD" sound especially when loaded ang back seats lalo na pag dumaan sa mga Humps.
Did anybody had the same experience/ observation? If ever ano kaya magandang replacement for the suspension para hindi naman sobrang lambot and saan kaya magandang magpa install ng bagong suspension?? TIA...

pag may THUD hindi na normal yan sir.

try mo pa check and look for KYB shocks.

I've been having a hard time kasi choosing between a fuel efficient car like Honda City 1.3 M/T or a mid-sized sedan like Altis 1.6 M/T.

yung 1.6E M/T ko is consuming around 9.7 - 10.5 km/L city driving

sir check nyo rin baka may tagas o singaw na yung shocks nyo kun nag-bobottom out sya. Pero po take into consideration na pag bago na shocks nyo uli maski OEM mag-fifirm up uli ride nyo baka that would be enough to allay your concern HTH

meron ba senyo tunog na parang toing sound kapag yung unang abante niya?

meron kasi ako lagi naririnig na parang nahahatak sa likod kapag unang apak ko ng gas..

pero kapag naka andar na wala na.. lagi lang kapag naka idle tapos aalis ako lagi me tunog na ganun

meron kasi ako lagi naririnig na parang nahahatak sa likod kapag unang apak ko ng gas..

pero kapag naka andar na wala na.. lagi lang kapag naka idle tapos aalis ako lagi me tunog na ganun

wala naman akong naririnig. actually, one thing i really like about the AT altis is the smoothness of the transmission. have it checked sa casa bro.

Yes, am not familiar with the type of oil but it was just the ordinary oil not the semi-synthetic or synthetic. The prices for the 3 oil types are 1k, 2k and 3k plus. Labor was free as this was part of my deal with the agent.

Nung 1st PMS ng Altis ko, 20W-50 din yung nilagay. Actually 20W-50 lang yung available na mineral oil ng TGMO (Toyota Genuine Motor Oil). If you want TGMO with lower viscosity, no choice but to go for synthetic which costs much more. All-in-all 900 pesos plus yung inabot ng sa akin nun; labor was free for 1K and 5K PMS sa Toyota Alabang.
