    * Dekzee: Wow that was impressive! At may pics pa talaga para mas maintindihan! Hehe.. Props to you

May concern nga lang po ako. Pano niyo po sinimulang tanggalin yung rubber lining? Did you use any tool to help you detach it?

Read from the several threads here that the use of synthetic oil hastens the sludging. It is still better to use mineral oil.

no tools, just grab it by your fingers and gently but firmly pull down. pinaka madaling simulang tanggalin dun sa midway between the A and B pillars then work your way towards the sides. careful pa din sir, if it won't budge then don't force it also, avoid kinking or bending the rubber. So far, sa dinaming beses kong tinatanggal tanggal at binalik to, wala pa namang leaks pag umuulan

Ms Cathy, I'm sorry I don't have the solution or even an explanation for the whistling. Wala kasi ako nung whistling e hehehe, so parang walang necessity on my part, but I'll try to research.

It's a "tok" sound whenever the car passes through uneven roads. Is it because of the muffler dangling? I tried checking the mudguards but they are all intact.

The problem with those using fully synthetic oil they maximize the 10000KM interval before they change oil . Mineral oil , semi synthetic ,fully synthetic change oil every 3000 to 5000 to prevent sludge .

+2 on this. it's the prolonged interval and not the oil per se that will lead to sludging. Beyond 7.5k kms, while the fully synthetic is still able to provide lubrication, its detergents are already exhausted and no longer able to suspend dirt and grime.

The front part is just secured by 2 metal clamps that can be disengaged by pulling upward while also pushing the cushion towards the rear (position yourself squatting facing the rear). The cushion should now be pulled out completely.

Pero, kung hindi mo matanggal despite ma disengage yung clamps sa harap, baka merong bolt in between the seat cushion and the sandalan. you can remove this by an extended socket wrench. try to feel for this bolt by putting your fingers in the crevice between the seat cusion and the back. good luck.

agree ako d2 hehe. dahil sobrang tahimik ng loob pansin mo even the slightest rattle at dahil nga sobrang tahimik annoying ung may rattle coz it stands out.

i actually have similar problems (two rattles). one probably sa may steering wheel /drivers side dash and the other somewhere sa glove box or sa may front passenger door.

i plan to have them fixed next year when the car comes up for its first pms.

fc ko is 8-9 km/l mixed. paranaque to makati with occasional use of the skyway. okay na ba yan or mababa.

also, yung aircon (auto climate), pag na ka auto climate control ba okay lang na di ko sya i off bago ko patayin ang makina. since auto, i assume pag nag set ka ng temperature pabayaan mo na.

    tia po.

    1. Medyo mababa po yung FC, pero mag-i-improve iyan after 1st PMS. Mag-i-improve pa lalo iyan after 5K PMS. FC ko ngayon (mixed) is 11-12 km/l; kapag wala talagang traffic umaabot sa 13-14; route is Las Pinas-Manila via Coastal Road-Roxas Blvd.

I would suggest na i-turn off nyo na lang sir ang ac before turning the engine off, whether manual or auto climate. The reason is that the next time you turn on the engine, the compressor magnetic clutch might already be engaged. And cranking the engine with an engaged compressor clutch might be detrimental to the compressor, especially the bearings. at least in theory.

On your FC, are you driving an automatic or a manual sir? My 1.6G AT had an FC of 7.5 average at first but improved to 8.5 after the 1k PMS. So may pagasa pang mag improve after the 5k PMS.

Wow, that's something to look forward to. Odo now reads 4,400 kms. Route ko is Banawe area to Makati. Thanks for the info bro.

Still, depende pa rin iyan sa lagi mong dinadaanan; kapag laging stop-and-go dahil sa traffic or kahit humps, don't expect good FC figures.
