i dont think i could have my unit if not for prayers talaga di ba parang miracle sa bilis... plus this and also this one :phone:to bpi and SA. i just pesonally met my SA kahapon lang 1st time ko rin nagpunta sa dealer for pick-up na. deal was closed thru phone only, no single cents given in advance. but please take note of this.... me patong po 1k yong SA sa insurance. just discovered it when i was at home na based on OR. but still be contented na lang and be happy . have to go back to bicutan due to 3 bubbles at tint medyo malalaki po. di ko nachecked kasi medyo madilim na din and i was so engrossed with the diffference of AT and MT. and the lock at 3rd row.natandaan ko yon thru this forum.

Have been reading the detailing thread on this site and I think I have stumbled on another thing to possibly waste a whole weekend day on...
Actually, as per lack of reputable detailing shop where I'm at, I have been forced to do weekly maintenance of my ride using a Quick Detailer (after initially doing the "wax sealing" of the paint the first weekend using carnauba wax) and bi monthly rewaxing (have done 2x na), but being a novice in detailing I have doubts if I am doing the right thing.
Parang iba pa din kasi pag expert sana ang gagawa.
Well I guess practice makes perfect...

yeah same here.... I'm a little bit hesitant doing it by myself alone. No confidence to do it. Better to spend money rather than commit mistake... di ata toy car yun.... Pero cguro kung may detailed explanation or clear manual ok lang pero takot ako, baka magkamali.. he he he... baka yung champagne ko maging gin...joke

Iba nga talaga pag professional na ang gagawa medyo panatag ang loob mo. Kompleto rin sila sa gamit. Anyway, pangmatagalan naman yun. I advice also my wife na dun na rin ipa-carwash sa Bigbert's. Mahirap pag dyan lang sa tabi-tabi. P120 lng naman, premium carwash na yun using high quality car shampoo.

hi to all,

its my first time to write in this forum, but i read lot and get some useful informations.

i just added another accessories to my avanza yesterday c/o Autodresscode, the side mirror chrome cover w/ light (P2,400) and tail light extender (P1,400). The price and service are excellent, medyo mahirap lang talaga ikabit yung side mirror chrome cover. First time nila mag install for avanza, mostly and previous installations are innova. It took them 2.5 hours to finish the job for the cover alone, unlike innova daw madali.

they don't have stocks for the side moulding, so babalik pa ako tomorrow (di pde ngayon color coding ako e... hehe...)

so ang medyo kulang ko na lang na gusto ko pa ipakabit:

1. side moulding (hopefully tom) - P1,600
2. roof rail (universal lang meron sila so hintay muna ako nung standard for avanza)
3. body skirts

right now meron na akong:

1. Chrome door handle and cover
2. spoiler (built in sa G yata talaga yon.)
3. chrome pillars
4. side mirror chrome cover
5. tail light extender

yung mga items na i don't have plans to install:

1. front and rear lamp covers
2. hood guard
3. plate garnish
4. step board


btw, i bought my avanza G (in toyota otis) last dec. 16. and got the sticker last feb 2.

3. Microfiber towels
4. Cleaner Wax
5. Upholstery/Carpet cleaner (for stains sa ceiling, carpet, cloth seat cover)
6. Quick Detailer
7. Vinyl/Plastic Protectant (for Dashboard and vinyl/plastic interior)
8. Rain X for glass (I use this pag rainy season)
9. Tar Remover
10. Tire Black

Wax, seal, glass cleaning ako sa bigberts quarterly.

thanks bro. yup black yung side molding na sinabi ni alex w/ chrome in the middle. pero di ko muna ipapakabit kahit ako na lang kase what i am planning to do is to have it body paint color, isasabay ko yung mudguard ko kase black sya right now. yung C-pillar just refer on the picture. bro inattach ko din yung gusto ko sana na roofrack na ipakabit pero di ko pa natatanong kay alex kung meron sila. and also yung picture nung LED side mirror cover na pinakabit ko (pero blue actual color nung sakin for park light, and then yellow for signal light). yung roof rail di ko na natanong yung price.

hello robbythor medyo mataas talaga pag inhouse base sa na experience ko just to share with you nag pa quote ako toyota pasong tamo and BPI calamba here are the differences:

TOYOTA Pasong Tamo
Insurance: 25,000 (can pay in 4 mos)
CMO: 24,411
LTO: 6,500
Amort: 14,467 (60 mos)

BPI Calamba
Insurance: 17112.50 (payable in 3 mos)
CMO: 15,000 (approx)
LTO: 6,500 + increased 1,000
mnthly Amort: 13,340 (60 mos)

with these figures napag isip ako.... I hope these will help you think din.

tapos naka pila ako Toyota San Pablo ngayon, actually last week twice ako updated ng SA ko sa availability but I really want champagne... then this monday the plant will make an allocation again so hopefully I'll get the unit I am really dreaming of next week. 3rd week ko na ito naghihintay. Dapat nga kc meron na ako Feb 6 from Pasong Tamo kaya lang di ko sinasadya na nagpa quote ako sa BPI at nag isip na sayang din 1K na ma save ko every month. Ayaw naman ipasa ng pasong tamo yung unit thru BPI..... Di bale I'll wait that day na lang....

finally, nakuha ko na din yung plate no. ko after 21 days with 2007-2009 sticker. binigay lang sa akin photo copy ng OR, yung mga original wala pa daw (OR & CR). sa mga bumili ng cash nakuha nyo na ba agad yung orig OR & CR?

thanks for this site, it was very helpfull..... i am getting my avanza this 1st week of march. i am getting it cash. automatic 1.5 G. i ordered the champagne color but seems it is very difficult to get such that color my SA told frankly she will try her best to give me but after 3 weeks wala pa din so we cannot wait instead we just get the silver color which in the chinese year is one the lucky color.. My SA is connected to toyota dasma.. manila bay...i got less 10k company discount, free rust roof, tint but not 3M. seat cover... no chattel mortage... free lto and tpl but the comprehensive insurance eh P20,900 medyo mahal pero yun na daw ang best offer nila sa comprehensive insurance....
This site was very helpfull... siguro after ko makuha ang car ko eh bili ako ng mga ibang accessories got form this forum, tial light extension... car paint...step board at roof rails......sabi sa akin ng SA ko eh ngayon daw 5K na lang ang binibigay nilang company discount..... just keep on posting this is my 1st car and wala ako gaanong alam sa car but thanks sa site na ito talagang very helpful.......drive safely and keep us updated.

ako ulit...... siguro pag kuha ko ng avanza ko eh magdala ako ng checklist or copy ng full specs nila para sure ako na meron lahat.....check ko din ang 3rd row seet kung nagla lock sya... kasama pala ang seatcover sa freebies nila......sa autodresscode mura ang tail light extender based sa nabasa ko mas mura dun. ang roof rails sa autocentro naka bolts daw o naka tornilyo di katulad kay spacetech eh naka double adhesive daw which na nakakatakot at baka mawala ang dikit lumipad at maka disgrasya pa.....sayang din ang gastos kung magkaganun, then sa pain protector sa bigbert......question lang mga bro...di kasama ang backsensor sa G class ng avanza...... saan ba murang magpalagay ng back sensor... at how much ang back sensor sa ngayon.... and also i will ask my SA kung totoo nga ma void ang electrical warranty kapag nagalaw ang linya sa loob... meaning hindi ako pwedeng magpalagay ng back sensor sa labas kung mas mura at mawala ang warranty ko.... back sensor sa toyota cost P5,6++. medfyo mahal pati 3M tint additional almost 6k for that. kasi ang regular daw nila eh Us gila daw. so pansamantala eh yun muna tehn saka ko nalang palitan kung malaki na ang damage o matuklap..........another question saan murang magpalagay ng side skirt or protector. at stepboard baka siguro autocentro at autodresscode meron na sila pagpunta ko paki post naman ang price para matawarana at di ako taasan pagnagpunta ako......... post a message ulit pag may time ako....

bro, kausapin mo SA mo na di na uso US gila tint, ang pinaka mababa na nilalagay ng toyota ngayon platinum, mas ok di nag color violet pagtumagal.platinum din kasi yung pinalagay ko sa old car ko hanggang naibenta ko oks pa sya (after 2 years).

thanks jaspi for the advance.... next na tawag ko eh sabihin ko sa kanya na platinum ang ilagay nya.... una na nga sabi ko hwag na lang ilagay at palitan na lang ng back sensor at ako na lang ang magpapatint. pero ayaw nya palit lang daw sa tint eh doblehin nya ang seat cover. so sabi ko sige yung tint na lang nila at pag ok na sa budget eh saka ko na lang ipa #M o kaya yung V-cool na sinasabi nila... mga P2500 lang naman siguro yun kaysa magbayad ako ng less than 6K.. thanks ulit for the advise

Pero yun nga sabi nya... cguro nakita nya authenticity ng dala kong quotation from TYT pasong tamo.... and she wanted me to be impressed by her offer.

mukhang oks yung side molding, oks na cguro sakin ang black, tutal 1.3J ang unit ko black ang side mirror, black ang mudguard, black ang door handle at may trim lining na black rubber sa roof

I am a newbie here but I have been reading your posts long before. I must say that you all have helped me a lot in my decisions. Thank you!

I am in the process of buying a 1.5F A/T but I need your help once more. I noticed that no one has posted anything about Loan versus Lease.

I have applied for a Leasing scheme with Toyota and I have been approved. I have also applied for a Bank Loan. Now, I am not sure which is best. Can any of you please tell us what's the Pros and Cons of Loan and Lease? I have been told that Leasing is usually offered only to companies or bulk purchases. For my case, they offered me a leasing option. I'm not sure why but I think Toyota is promoting this.

So far this is what I know:

Leasing Pros:

- only 15% downpayment needed
- low interest rate
- no chattel mortgage

Leasing Cons:

- people say that you don't technically own the car until your last payment

Loan Pros:

- low interest rate
- you own the car but with bank

Loan Cons:

- 20% downpayment needed
- chattel mortgage fee required
