February 4th, 2008 09:36 AM #7289yung sa akin sa casa pag labas pa lang pinalagyan ko na nang cargo net.. yup binutasan sya tapos may nilagay na parang black na bilog na pinagkakabitan.. ngayon after 3 months.. eh ang problema ko eh umangat yung siding don sa right side.. nahihigit kasi sya.. kahit ibalik eh umaangat pa rin.. papaayos ko nga sa 5K PMS ko next week.

Here are my thoughts regarding our club logo.
1. The logo will officially set our identity as a club. It is a symbol. Like the flag of a nation or the seal of an organization, it makes us, the members, proud. It is a rallying factor.
2. The costing at the moment is immaterial. I believe the members will eventually subscribe to whatever project that is related with the logo. Like car sticker, Shirt, Cap, Stationary, Calendar, Post it, Wall Clock, Mug and many more.
3. For me the initial step is for us (specifically by the BOD) to approve the the design. This will give justice to the efforts and time of the author/s. This is the first test of the club's unity.
4. When approved by the Board, reproduction comes last. Others may personally opt to use the official design to what is listed above. Of course, for personal use. Not for business.
5. I noted that some members have their avanza as their first new car or family car. It means a lot more if you belong to an organization.
5. Looking forward, our club will be registered soon. From thereon, we can talk about a concerted effort to come up with a project for the club's own purpose (business, social, etc). We (the club) can get back to those who will use the logo for personal gains/profits. Each member is responsible to safeguard the use of the said logo.
6. I think the design is already okay. The issues are:
a. circular color;
b. transparent vs pure colored
Am I right?
7. Think of these: Avanza Club Pilipinas Bowling Team, or Basketball team, Badminton Team, Chess Team, Racing Team (Hmmm). of course against other club. How about premier showing sponsored by Avanza Club Pilipinas? Or a Bloodletting Activity during our anniversary?
8. Just my few thoughts.

February 4th, 2008 11:29 AM #7292Let us have another EB next month. I am looking at March 8, March 15 and March 29. Di ko sinama ang March 22 kasi Black Saturday, dahil sa loooooooonnnnnnng week end ang holy week, malamang maraming out of town sa dates na ito. I think pinaka possible ang march 15. Malamang tapos na ang mga finals at wala pang mga graduation ceremonies. Gagawa tayo ng poll for the exact date. We also need suggestions for the location.
Regarding the banner design, good na ang napag botohan. I think di naman maganda na every time may magandang design, ay gagawa ulit tayo ng decision.
For the logo for shirts, caps, etc. dapat simple lang at konti ang colors nito para madaling i-print or i-tahi. Puwede din na gawain na sticker. Pa send na lang sa Yahoo e-mail ko para next week, puwede tayong gumawa ng mga polls ulit. (EB date and Sticker/logo design). I will accept submissions for the design till Friday (Feb. 8) this week. Sorry sa mga designs na di ma send sa akin ng Friday. BTW, dapat pala na may hawig sa design ng banner natin.
Any suggestions, and/or violent reactions? :D

BUT, this design ay medyo di practical for shirts, caps, mugs, etc. So we need a simpler logo. We can use the sticker for the back windshield and the logo for the front winshield. Iyon lang nga, dapat coordinated ang logo and sticker.
We are in no rush to finalize ever thing ASAP. We must also give other members a chance to voice out their opinions and suggestions. Pero once a decision is made, final na.

Total = 7,179 units
