As I type in this post - sa Shangri-la EDSA launch ng Toyota Avanza ngayong gabi. Sa Glorietta naman launch ng 2007 Ford Ranger ngayong gabi. Bakit ba nagsasabay sila?

Wow, those are the crappiest pressed vinyl side panels I have seen. Why can't they just use hard plastic?

Bare metal for the interior? Suddenly it's 1986 all over again. hehehe.

I wonder why Toyota loves to use those oh-so-easy-to-steal plastic wheel covers. Why can't they copy some notes for Hyundai/Kia and use wheelcovers which cannot be taken off without removing the lug nuts?

The upmarket variants look way better. Typical of Toyota, you can only select fan speed and thermostat setting. You cannot select which vents the air will come out of. Even the 1.4 million peso Hilux is like that (foot and face lang ata ang choice).

the 1.3J's steering wheel looks mighty familiar...i think its the same as our revo glx's steering wheel

the J variant targets taxi fleets. btw, the 3rd row seats are optional.
