November 24th, 2014 11:23 AM #1Im currently using 20w50 oil for my 97 toyota corolla gli. Is this ok or too much? I recently had an engine leak and im not sure if the oil has something to do with it since I just changed my oil seal and valve gasket last september

November 24th, 2014 04:19 PM #3OK lang yan Sir. Its actually more suitable for older cars. Just make sure you don't overfill your oil. Keep it between the max and min level (or near the max level at least but not over it). Also, do the oil level checking in the morning where all the oil has already set at the pan. Gaskets / oil seals usually wear overtime, and its normal we change them given its service lifetime
