April 15th, 2014 01:12 AM #3731got our Vios earlier, na-experience ko yung sinasabi niyo na mahina yung batak pero sa uphill ko siya na-experience, ginawa ko nag-downshift ako tas binomba ko kaunti yung gas, tapos ayun ok naman.. pero malakas ang batak niya sa patag, sabi nga ng father ko ang bilis ko daw magpatakbo..
so far wala yung mga tok at rattling sounds pero oobserve ko sa mga susunod na araw.. napansin lang namin is yung alignment ng steering wheel, pag binibitawan ko kumakanan siya.. text ko yung SA namin tomorrow about this..

April 16th, 2014 09:48 AM #3739Pag sa humps, na observed ko young "tok" sounds when the shocks are rebounding from its compressed state. So basically, kahit sa mga uneven roads ganon din yon. However, running at more than 20 kph, wala ka nang maririnig kahit ano pang malubak na lugar ang madaanan mo. Kaya there will come a point in the driving experience of the Gen 3 Vios that it will just be ignored. But it's there. And you know it. Sometimes you will just drive faster on uneven roads para huwag lang marinig. But as others have also shared in this forum, Toyota has their replacement parts for it. Some are in the process of replacement. It simply means, Toyota Motor Philippines acknowledged it and is willing to correct it. Unfortunately for my case, wala pa yung parts don sa dealer na pinagbilhan ko. And according sa Customer Relations Officer na nakakausap ko, he assured me that it will have a different part number and definitely dapat iba din ang hitsura non.

April 16th, 2014 11:10 AM #3740Yes,un service advisor na nakausap ko may ilalabas daw na improve arm assy.naka order na rin cla for my vios,waiting na lang kun kailan idedeliver.marami rami na rin un nagpapayos ng tok sound sa kanila.
at least acknowledge ng Toyota na may problema at gumagawa ng solution.
the triumph of man over... man!, using the crudest of implements (by modern standards).
