Reviving this thread since I'm feeling grateful for the auto shops that have helped me maintain my cars.

    1. Speedyfix
    P. Guevara, San Juan
Best all-around car shop I've tried. This is where I have my PMS for my older car, and I'd recommend that you have your car serviced here when you decide to shy away from casa maintenance. All their mechanics are knowledgeable and won't feed you BS. The owners are also very friendly and know a lot about cars. It's a shop that doesn't make you feel like you're getting ripped off - they won't tell you to replace anything unnecessary, but they will fix the root of your car's problem. Many Jap tuners and Euro cars get serviced here, but their prices are reasonable. Free wifi and an aircon lounge too.

    2. The Detail Studio
    Ortigas Home Depot, Pasig
Very professional detailing shop that really takes care of your car. Again, I'm usually the cheapest car in the shop (most are sports cars and Euros), but they charge the same as any normal carwash (120 for a sedan). Their detailing service is as good as, if not better than, Big Bert's with a more personal touch. Price level for detailing/waxing is about the same as well, more expensive than your typical car wash, but you get what you pay for. They have a very wide selection of waxes, glazes, and sealants to choose from.

    3. Fordland
    Banawe, QC
Cheap place to get parts for my Mazda 3. Most recently I bought filters and suspension parts. I used to go to Mazford but found out recently that Fordland's generally cheaper.

    4. Cruven
    Camp Crame, QC
Suspension specialist at a good price. They have their own injection technology that repairs your worn suspension bits (shocks, tie rods, etc) in case you can't afford a replacement. Their mechanics seem knowledgable enough in identifying where your kalampag is coming from. Generally affordable labor charge so you can also buy your replacement parts outside and have them install it.

Off topic but if alaga naman ang engine and tranny specifically their oils and the brakes (safety), the only other suspect is the suspension and maybe steering. Avanza parts are widely available. I would go to cruven instead of speedyfix for suspension/brakes repairs.

you missed something on my post. it's a 16 year old car (FYI, 1st gen Avanza was released in 2006; our Avanza bought in 2010 has no problems so far) and that car is a Mazda 323.

Shops like C3 Audio and Jetcar Audio in Banawe can do that. Labor would be a few hundreds (perhaps a few thousands for more complicated installs) per item.

For those of us running European motors, try:-

    Eurospec Auto Services
Pilar Development Compound, Warehouse 3 (Unit 2), Pilar Road, Barangay Almanza, 1750 Las Pinas.
    0932-855-0055 or 403-0767
    Email: Eurospec*Emsglobal.ph
    Eurospec Auto Service

    Fritz is the owner.

They have a very well equipped and clean workshop, catering mainly for European vehicles. Have all the diagnostics kit as well

They helped me return my Range Rover P38 to air suspension from coils. Great bunch of guys and not silly with the prices.

Thanks in advance mga sir!
