one of the problems of the PNR management is when they apply warnings and markings in rail road crossings to warn and avoid accidents, people steal the markings and sell it to junkshops

Presently, there are 2 Tutuban and 2 Bicol trips per day (4 total)
Hindi pa kasama dito yung Metro Commuter Line
Hindi pa kasama yug mga demolition/work/maintenance trains

Kaya po STOP, LOOK, and LISTEN. ALWAYS.

The purpose of the visit is to spread the devotion to Ina, as how Bicolanos address Her, and to invite participation of the lay faithful in the crusade to raise 3 million rosaries for Mama Mary. These rosaries will be distributed to public elementary and high school students of catechesis nationwide.

For devotees, the special PNR “Pilgrimage Train” will leave Naga City in Bicol on May 13 at 7:00 a.m. and is open for reservations on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Final stop of Our Lady of Peñafrancia is at the PNR Tutuban Station where PNR General Manager Junio Ragragio will meet Ina for an overnight Vigil and homage by devotees. It will then be transferred to Sta. Monica Parish Church in Tondo via a procession which will go around the Tutuban Shopping Mall at 4 PM on Monday, May 14, 2012.

After the triduum, there will be “mantling,” a healing session, which is unique to Our Lady of Penafrancia, by way of laying Ina’s “manto” (cape) on the faithful.

Since 2010, the pilgrim image of Ina is brought, upon invitation, to parish churches and chapels of institutions and offices, where either a three-day prayer or a novena is held.

Archbishop of Caceres Leonardo Z. Legaspi, O.P., D.D initiated the pilgrimage, in the aim of spreading the devotion of Ina among the youth and beyond the borders of Bicolandia.

A state-owned railway company, PNR currently operates in two commuter rail services in Metro Manila and in the Bicol Region, one leaves at 6:30 p.m. bound for Naga and another at 8:30 p.m. bound for Ligao, and vice versa. Its newly renovated railways aim to revitalize commuter services in the capital, and restore the Manila-Bicol route.

Bicol Express (Tutuban - Naga) = 10 hours
Mayon Limited (Tutuban - Naga) = 9 hours (Mayon Limited route is Tutuban - Ligao = 10.5 hours)

Travel times vary (pag merong delayed na isang byahe, madedelay na din yung iba gawa sa salubungan)

    ---

Per info from PNR, Tutuban - Legazpi train service will resume in July.

gusto ko nito. at least makakapag stretch at lakad lakad ka sa luob unlike na 12hrs ka nakaupo sa bus at twice lang baba para kumain sa bus stops ng mga driver at kunduktor.

12 hours to Naga by bus? I am not sure about that. The more expensive Isarog Bus Takes about 7 hours. Cheaper bus could not be 5 hours slower.
