walang wala sa aircraft carrier ng China pag nagsagupa na sa Spratly. hehe!

gusto ko yung pic lang sana ilagay pero diko alam kaya link na lang

para san naman kaya yung nilagay na "additional radar" at "electronic equipment" na yan?

additional radar gives you the advantage of disengaging from battle earlier and controlling distance

Phalanx CIWS is only good for less than 20 seconds since it is a last ditch weapon. Consider its rate of fire and the number of ammo it can only carry.

good electronic surveillance and warfare systems not only augment your radar because of sensor fusion but also deceive the enemy's systems. Example are: making 1 ship appear many to enemy radar, leading guided munitions away from the ship and jamming.

why is this particularly good when there are more enemies?

you have to remember that this particular ship is not built with stealth in mind.

consider this: during Operation desert storm, Iraq is fielding numerous SAMs. To decrease detection and more losses, the US fielded EF-111A Ravens which is a dedicated E-war plane. Not only that, they also have excellent radar support from AWACS. Result: no losses for F-15's which are nearly always with these assets. Hence, a non-stealth plane is able to survive.
